Great product but Not a good past pot

I bought it and after two uses I had to return it. You cannot add enough water to cover a regular serving of pasta and when it boils the water spills making a huge mess in your kitchen. Do not buy if you plan to use it as a pasta pot.

Pot is too shallow for boiling family portion of pasta. Water boils up and thru insert. Nice all clad quality, but too shallow.

I love this pot - where has it been all my life? I bought it for ease of draining potatoes and pasta, and it works perfectly.
