Awkward handles

The pans are good looking but the handles are really awkward. It's as if they're upside down. and they actually hurt your hand to use.

Great Pans, ackward handles

I like how food cooks in these pans. Browns fast and seems to be easier to control heat with them. Didn't give 5 star rating because the handle design is ackward to hold with one hand on the larger pans.

Good pans; bad handles

Bought to replace my worn out nonstick 12 inch skillet. Purchased on sale and the price was fantastic.The pans heat up well, have a beautiful nonstick surface, cook well on my gas stovetop, easy cleanup. My existing 12 inch lid fits perfectly. The pans are substantial - they don't tip on the stove top but are not as heavy as cast iron pans. My only complaint regards the handles. The handles look very graceful with the elegant narrowed neck and long, rounded edges. However, as others have noted, the rounded bottom and open edges on the top make it uncomfortable to hold the pan. Additionally, I don't think a lot of real engineering went into the handle design. The 12 inch pan is off balanced when you try to pick it up when it is full and hot. Tried to drain grease off meat and gravity took over when I tilted the pan, due to the rounded underside of the handle and the length of the handle with the elegant narrow neck. Much of the meat into the sink. Improve the handle; get 5 stars.

I love this set of pans thusfar, can't wait to try in oven for my Dutch Apple Baby! They are well made, sturdy pans - I love the solid weight of pans.

Unfortunate Handles

The even cooking surface/pan itself - great. The handles - not. Surprising design-flaw with sharp edges that push into the palm of your hand. Hard to tip the pan into a serving dish when the handle bites into your palm (especially the largest/heaviest one).

Bought this set two years ago and use the a lot! Still in great shape and the three sizes are very handy for anything you want to cook. Give a nice sear and super easy cleanup, for a fair price.
