Nonstick fry pan, not nonstick anymore

I have a whole set of cookware and an additional I have a 10 inch and 12 inch nonstick pan. Both of them are now starting to wear out and I don’t think they are in warranty. These are the only issues that I have not sure if I can send them back to have them replaced.

All clad makes the best skillets . The slightly sloped sides make perfect eggs or anything sautéed?or frittatas or tartins..my only issue is that the stainless steel bottom doesn't clean as easily as the more expense all

Still Shiny After All This Time

Three years and still as shiny as the day I bought them. I absolutely love these two pans. They are spectacular. They work great on my electric glass top stove. Heat transfers fast and well. Now, they have never seen the inside of a dishwasher. No metal utensil has gotten near them. The bottoms get washed off after every use. About every two or three months they get a good bottom scrubbing with Barkeepers Friend to remove any brown char.

Breakfast is back!

I use the small fry pan exclusively for eggs.

Best Crepe pan

Perfect skillet, I was a little worried when I used it for my crepes. I had always used an all-clad regular metal bottom skillet (not non-stick.) When I threw drops of wateron the bottom of this hot skillet, they didn't dance-they sat there and then disappeared after a bit, so I thought the pan didn't get hot enough, I waited, and by then I knew it was hot, tried the drops again, still no dancing drops. Knowing the pan was very hot by now I scooped the batter in anyway, and the crepes were best ever, cooked fast, and easy browning and flipping. perfect texture. I can't believe I won't be using my old perfect crepe pan, but this one seems even better for crepes and everything else.

Loved these pans at first. Then...

We bought this set in August, after having had great experiences with all-clad for a couple of decades. In December, the non-stick coating started peeling away. I've emailed All-clad but haven't gotten a response. I can't recommend buying a premium brand pan that is useful for such a short time.

I am giving this five stars with the caveat that the test of a pan is over time-years at least. Especially non stick pans. I’ve gone through many that started out 5 stars but did not last. I purchased the 8 and 10 inch as a package deal. I believe they were a good buy. They are made in the U.S. I will not buy Chinese cookware. So far I’ve cooked eggs, omelets etc and they function as anticipated. They also heat evenly unlike poor quality pans. The buying experience was easy and the delivery was prompt. So far so good.

Great fry pan. I keep it on my stovetop and use it everyday. I've been cooking with All-Clad for years and this 8" D3 nonstick pan is perfect addition for my collection. Fully nonstick, just wipe it with paper towels and it's ready to flip another batch of over easy eggs. Nothing sticks and it's oven safe too. It is more pricey than other brands in it's class but you definitely get what you pay for. Even cooking and perfect release. Lovin' It.

EXCELLENT!

This set is an absolute must in my kitchen! I love my stainless steel All-Clad pots and pans because they are made well and are very healthy to cook with. My one problem was not being able to cook eggs successfully in them. The All-Clad D3 Stainless Steel Nonstick Skillets solved this problem, and I am very, very happy with this purchase! I cook them on medium heat (setting 4), and they always turn out beautifully, no matter what form I cook them (scrambled, omelet, etc.). The pans are so easy to clean, too, and they always look brand new! I use them every day!!! (Note: I was not paid or compensated to write this review.)

Perfect Choice

These have excellent balance between weight and handle length, a must for anyone who knows anything about cooking. Curvature of the sides is just right making sautéing / flipping effortless. Nonstick surface has performed as advertised. All-Clad is arguably the best name in stainless steel cookware and being made in USA just makes this purchase a no brainer. Expect these to last a lifetime.

I am very happy to have discovered this All-Clad - Stainless Steel 8-inch Nonstick Fry Pan. It is a great pan. Finally can make fried eggs that don't stick. I love that bit is 8 inches so I can make smaller amounts of things without having to use a huge pan. It cleans up very easily and will last for years to come. I would recommend.

I never thought I could love a frying pan so much! The All-Clad Frying Pan is genuinely a premium, high-quality product. The stainless steel is gorgeous! The pan also cooks excellent. It gives consistent heat throughout the pan, so you are not left with specific areas that still need to be cooked while other regions are starting to burn. Additionally, the non-stick coating makes cooking clean-up so easy. This is my favorite frying pan. I plan on getting the whole set.

I have tried multiple pans for daily kitchen use like omelette, sauté vegetable or toasting bread but i start seeing their coating remove after couple of months but i am super impressed with my new all clad 8 inch frying pan. I can now make pan cake and omelette with zero drop of oil or butter. It has a firm grip and heats evenly making your dish perfectly cooked from all sides, super easy to clean, i just put that under water with couple strokes of brush and done. It is dishwasher safe. Super happy with my pan and will plan to order in other sizes.

I have a a gas stove and have always had to cook eggs and small sauce runs in a large pan. I never knew how much I was missing out on life without this pan though. Quick easy one to throw on the burner, perfect sunny side eggs are suddenly so easy! The non-stick means all I have to do is rinse, wipe out and move on. No crazy maintenance. I love this pan.

We have been using the All-Clad Stainless Steel 8 inch nonstick pan each morning. The pan is perfect for our morning eggs. I know we will use it for many other things, but it is the go-to right now. The size is perfect for the burners. The pan heats up easily and evenly. Once cool, it is super easy to keep clean. The eggs cook well, and we can plate them easily. Not much cooking oil is needed, and clean-up is easy. Highly recommend.

Truly Nonstick!

I love my 2 skillets. I specifically bought them with breakfast in mind. The larger one is great for frying bacon and I use the smaller one for omelets or scrambled eggs. My only complaint is that the pans came with no care instructions. I didn’t know about pre-washing before first use or if I should use butter when preparing omelets. I washed pans in soapy water which seems fine. I erred on the side of caution and did not use butter for my first omelet run. Good decision. The nonstick surface works wonderfully and you absolutely don’t need to use butter or oil. Those things could actually damage the finish. I have enjoyed using my pans and look forward to many years ahead of use.

Do not waste your money on non-stick Al Clad pans!

I spent $600 on these non-stick pans, and 6 months later a spot in the center of the 12" became worn. The customer service rep said it was my fault, when I was using their rubber utensils! And said I must have used too high heat. They are unresponsive and do not stand behind their VERY EXPENSIVE products. I've used cheaper products that NEVER did this. Also, their pots and pans are awful as well. They are short and fat and anything you boil in them foams up and boils over on the lowest heat and ruins you glass cooktop.
