Disappointed with Quality and Size Changes

I'm a huge fan of All-Clad Nonstick pans and have used my original set daily for the past four years—for everything from eggs in the morning to late-night quesadillas. The ones I have are 8.5" and 10.5" (vs. 8" and 10" for this new set). I decided to go ahead and purchase the new set, assuming a slight half-inch size difference wouldn’t matter much. However, the new pans are nearly an inch smaller each, which doesn’t work as well for everyday cooking. On top of that, the quality seems to have declined—the handles feel lighter and less sturdy, and the overall build isn’t what it used to be. Between the size difference and the drop in quality, I'll be returning this set.

High expectations All clad meets!

I was told tales of All clad pans my whole childhood so it was definitely aspirational to finally purchase some- they do live up to their name and expectations. Theyre incredible and heavy duty (which is a bit of a double edged sword as they are quite heavy). They are not as heavy as a cast iron but have all of the benefits. I would recommend them to someone else very passionate about cooking and cookware and wanting to invest in nice pans!

Good pan but quite heavy

I was looking forward to a new sturdy non stick pan that can be used in very hot temperatures in the oven. It is a lovely pan. The largest drawback is the weight of this pan. I have arthritis and I can barely lift it when it's empty much less when it's full. There's a second handle but that doesn't help when you need to scrape out the contents. This will limit it's use for me.

Durable non-stick, easy clean

Having previously bought All-Clad non-stick pans for my health nut gourmet cook wife, I am told that they cook the food just as desired and the pans, although heavy, are not too heavy to handle -- but as the designated pots and pans washer, I have appreciated what seems to be the exceptional durability of the non-stick surface (if used properly with non-metal utensils) for relatively easy cleaning even with frequent use over several years. The All-Clad Ha1, marketed as an even more durable upgrade (and as usable with its glass lid in the oven, which have not tried), sold in a set of 3 pan sizes (12, 10 and 8 inches) the larger two with sturdy glass lids, for what to me was a fair price (with free shipping) for the 5 pieces with their anticipated longevity. The new pans arrived quickly at our front door and work just as well as we expected, both for cooking and cleaning.
