Dimensions didn't match description

I purchased this to go under a rug of the same dimensions. However, the pad was about a foot wider and required me to cut the excess.

This is a great rug pad! It has the rubber backing to keep the pad in place and there is sufficient padding for the rug to have a "cushy" feel.

Exactly what I needed!

I tried at least 5 kinds of rug pads before I found this Mohawk brand, and it is exactly what I needed for our floors. It’s the right thickness, amount of padding, color, everything. So easy to trim to size and doesn’t need to be adhered to the rug, it just clings. After wrestling with those other pads so many times I was ridiculously happy with this product!

Does the job

It's a little larger than the 9x12 that I ordered, so I had to trim it once the rug was in place. Kind of a pain. Also once I opened it, there's a strong chemical smell. It does keep the rug from rubbing against the vinyl flooring.
