[Rewarded Review] Great for trips

The portable refrigerator/cooler is great for road trips. It comes with a cord to plug in an outlet, and a separate cord to plug inside your car. There are two separate compartments for different temperatures. It cools down very fast, but if your drinks are warm, it will take a little less that an hour to cool them down. We like taking coolers on trips with us for drinks and snacks in the car, but always worried about our items getting wet. Not anymore with this portable refrigerator. It’s a little on the heavy side, especially when loaded up, but it’s still able to be carried with the handles very easily. There is also a light inside for better viewing if it’s dark.

[Rewarded Review] Road Trip Ready Cooler

This cooler seems to be exactly what we were looking for in order to have refreshments on long road trips here in Montana. We were able to purchase warm drinks and have them cool in no time with plenty of temperature flexibility to spare. The cooler was left in the car for a couple of hours not running and only changed a few degrees. I could definitely see this as a valuable resource to those that might need to keep something frozen for a long ride home or for sports parents that want to have ice at the ready. The way the compartments are split is slightly confusing at first but I understand why the smaller compartment stays warmer since it is above the compressor. This thing hardly makes any noise at all. I only have two complaints. The handles are hard to get your fingers into when loaded with the added weight of the compressor and it would be nice if the lid had some drink holders formed into it. Otherwise you can sit on the lid and it feels very stout for a big guy.

[Rewarded Review] Done buying ice. Powered Cooler Performs Well

I was interested in getting a powered cooler for road trips and car camping because I was buying a lot of ice which takes up. Lot of space and it would sometimes melt and water would get into the food. So far the 34 qt Alpicool cooler is exceeding my expectations. It cools down rapidly and really performs like a refrigerator. The construction is sturdy and I like that they did not try to put wheels or extendable handle because those always seem to break on coolers I have owned. The digital controls tell you the exact temperature of each compartment. The size is good in that it fits nicely in the back of my van. I found it interesting that you can really only directly control the temperature of the larger compartment. This works out fine though. The smaller compartment is cooled to a lesser degree so that is where you put your items that need less cooling. (Food, fruits for example). The manual does a good job at telling you what temps are recommended for what foods. Overall I am excited to skip buying bags of ice and have less of a mess.
