Has Known design problems

Had this for a few years and water started pooling in drawers. Fixed by repair guy who said it was due to faulty design that caused the drain hose to freeze. A year later - another problem - inside back was iced up and would not get below 48F. Talked to our repair guy and he said that he also sees this all the time with Samsungs. He advised against putting more $$ into what would probably be a temporary fix. Looked online and it seems to be a known Samsung problem. Replaced it with other brand.

Freezer too small

It’s a nice fridge for a smaller space. Freezer is very small. Ice maker could be smaller to accommodate larger freezer. Left door is harder to use than the right. Most bottled beverages have to lay down, no space to stand them up.

Samsung counter depth French door refridg/freezer

Smaller than invisioned. The shelves are not adjustable. Does not accommodate the height for a gallon of milk. No separate egg holder. the door shelves are very small. The freezer, however, is a convenient size. Not fingerprint or smudgeproof.

Multiple delivery cancellations of LG fridge.

Multiple delivery cancellations and reschedules. Still no delivery of LG refrigerator after 3 reschedules. Black mold is growing inside. I can’t open the doors in fear of the mold. Even w the doors closed, I smell the mold. It’s making me sick. If it had been delivered when originally stated, none of this would be a problem. Customer services is nice but useless.

Very solid refrigerator for the price. Had to fit in a very specific space and this was one of the only ones on the market that both fit and was in black stainless steel. Surprising amount of room for the size. The ice maker leaves a little bit to be desired but other than that I'd fully recommend this product.

Garbage Samsung appliances sold by home depot.

I bought this Samsung fridge a microwave and a dish washer 15 months ago. Paid a lot of money. The frudge and the dish washer do not work. Piece of garbage. [Rewarded Review] Nightmare experience!!! Do NOT buy it!!!

I purchased this Samsung fridge from Best Buy in Lewisville (Dallas, TX) less than a year ago, and I'm extremely frustrated. With the warranty set to expire on November 22nd, I've already had three visits from Samsung technicians to address an ongoing issue with the freezer.

Worst appliance company and worst experience EVER.

I bought this fridge 4-5 months ago from Lowes. Roughly 3 months later, the fridge stopped cooling all together. Samsung had a service company come out and they fixed it. It worked for roughly 2- 3 more weeks. Then it stopped working again. The service person was on the phone with Samsung for at least an hour, repeating that it could not be fixed, but continued to do their diligence to appease Samsung service center. Samsung finally agreed to replace. Samsung's customer resolution policy is awful. Samsung, basically forced me to accept a credit to Samsung.com in order to accept their "courtesy credit" that would cover the deliver and haul away fees I paid for this terrible appliance. Also, I was told it would be faster to go this route. Then after I agreed was told that it will take 8 days to receive a credit to samsung.com to make a new purchase, but "they will work on getting it approved sooner." Meaning I should have just taken the refund which would have been received in 7- 10 days.

I bought this one due to it's size, it had to fit in my 5th wheel camper. It is replacing an earlier model that failed. So far so good. Every feature works well as described. The WIFI feature is useful if you have kids that leave the door open.

Junk! Don't buy!

Had this refrigerator exactly 3 years. Freezer has stopped working. I went to their website and did the troubleshooting and still not working. Don't waste your money. For what these things things cost should definitely last longer than 3 years. I will never buy another Samsung product again.

Horrible refrigerator

Do NOT buy this refrigerator! I bought this refrigerator 3 months ago and it has had problems since the first week I bought it. Trying to get someone to look at it is so difficult and when Samsung comes out they tell me nothing is wrong even though it’s making a crackling noise and gets hot where the cold air comes out. I looked at refrigerators for weeks trying to decide what I should buy and I choose to buy this refrigerator and I regret it. Spend the extra money and buy something else!!

Worst fridge We've ever used. Freezer stops working for no reason. There are frozen lakes under the crisper drawers we have to bail every few weeks. We bought this unit at the beginning of 2023. It worked for about 6 months. The interior design is not good. The shelves are so shallow, there isn't a shelf that can even hold a gallon of milk.

Freezer quit in less than a year

So disappointed in this product. We had all new Cafe appliances installed with a remodel less than a year ago. The freezer suddenly stopped cooling. Took a week to get a repair person here, then another week to get a new electrical board. Problem still isn’t fixed. Why can’t anyone make a decent refrigerator any more? Don’t waste your money on this brand.

Lethal radiation omits steer far clear

Bought this knowing it was SMART but having a Samsung smart tv I assumed it couldn’t be any higher radiation levels than a tv that’s connected to WIFI. I was horrifically wrong in my assumption. Trying to get a read off my EMF reader was impossible bc well it omits so much radiation that it is unable to even get a read.. this is comparable to trying to get a read from a cell tower or a cell phone so alarmingly high and dangerous to the body, specifically DNA. Crazy part is it wasn’t just one area of the refrigerator, it was all points including outside front, all inside even the back of the refrigerator. Absolutely alarming part was that it was even reaching our dining nook area which is quite a few paces away and it was peaking so high still. If you care about your health and most importantly your children’s health as they are more susceptible to non native radiation then please steer far clear of this refrigerator and most likely any smart appliances. Thankfully Home Depot is so amazing and picking it up tomorrow for a return and we’re purchasing a non smart Frigidaire. Shame on you Samsung for creating such a harmful product that is so harmful and damaging to your customers’ health

Love this fridge, except....

This fridge is great, except about once a year, or so you have to reboot it. I'm talking pull it out from the wall, unplug it, wait 15 seconds or so, and plug it back in. The fridge, and the app will tell you it's 37 degrees inside the fridge, but it will be like 64 degrees. I recommend getting an analog thermometer and keeping it in the fridge. It's the only way to not possibly lose a fridge full of food.

not-level by design

I almost tipped backwards just looking at the refrigerator when I saw that the unit was 1-1/4" off the floor in the rear and 1-3/4" off the floor in the front. You see, the rear sits on wheels that make it easy to push backward into the spot, but have no adjustment. The only adjustment is in the front with two feet that can be screwed up and down to level. Those feet were retracted to the limit (as shipped). You'd think that a leveled unit on a level floor would be achieved with those feet midway in their adjustment range. But you'd be wrong. It is an engineering mystery that the unit is out of level 1/2" from rear to front, The provided adjustment acts in the wrong direction. I was baffled.

Measurements aren't accurate

I bought this fridge because I reviewed the measurements and expected it to be exact. I didn't have much space to work with. When I brought it home, I realized my cupboards were too low. The fridge itself was the perfect height but there is a box towards the front of the fridge on top with wires in it for the doors which could not fit under my cabinet. I had to raise my cabinets by 1/4". I would have had 2" of space above my fridge if it wasn't for this panel on top.

I’ve had this refrigerator about three weeks now. This refrigerator is a great fit for a slightly narrow opening against a wall. With pocket handles, I can fully open it against a side wall. Not having ice dispenser on door isn’t a big deal; I just reach in freezer and get a scoop of ice. Good machine to fit a smaller opening for the price.

Freezer Stopped Working

We've had this fridge for 3 years and have only used it maybe 3 months as it's in our camper and the freezer stopped working completely. I would not recommend this fridge as it's some what pricey for the quality you get. Needless to say we were very disappointed to have to purchase a new refrigerator so soon.

The fridge itself has been great so far, we had some small issues with it right out of the gate but Best Buy was amazing the entire way from the customer service to the repair men that came to the house. I will only buy from Best Buy going forward for large appliances this is how the experience used to be when companies took care of the customer. Highly recommend if you are in the fence or not sure where to purchase large expensive products from, Best Buy has been amazing every time we buy something. They make it easy and stand behind what they sell!
