Product was fine. Busted malfunctioning store locker was a big disappointment and time waste.
Handy Little Pump
I am using this small pump to replace a larger one in my outdoor fish tanks. Extremely easy to set up and maintain. Comes with a very long cord and a basic guard for capturing large items which is essential for outdoor tanks.
Great Pump
Works great on my fountain. I did have to buy a hose to fit the pump tubing. It was easy to install.
Weak water movement
This pump barely gurgles, even in direct sunlight. Very disappointed in it. Notice in the picture that the water is completely still at 9 AM.
don't know if this was a mistake in packaging .
i haven't been able to hook it up yet because the fitting that came with the pump doesn't fit the pump. It' s too big

I have many fountains and have purchased many Alpine motors. This appears to be some inferior Chinese production. The installer could not make it work. Alpine used to be a good company.
