This lamp is exactly as described. It takes batteries and worked wonderfully while camping. The light can be adjusted and can be hung up or sit out. I was satisfied and will probably purchase a second one for the next trip.

I love how really cute it is and it's about 11 inches tall..the lamp has a dimmer switch for a night light say in the bathroom.....its nice and bright on high.....I bought it to put in the Kitchen as a sandwhich making light...dont need the overhead on to make a sandwhich....IM SAVING MONEY.....I also bought AC DELCO BATTERIES at a very low price...they are very well rated...
Nice latern
We love these for power failures especially the dim to bright feature. But, the product information was incorrect THEY TAKE 4 AA BATTERIES NOT D .. We bought D batteries and had them ready to put in when the lanterns arrived and it was a waste of money.
Very Light Weight
Good light but much smaller and lighter than I anticipated. Not good for windy locations.

The lamp has a rheostat that allows a wide range of intensity adjustments for the desired amount of light that is needed for just about any situation.
