This is a beautiful piece. When lit it's quite stunning. This is in the foyer and is the first thing one sees when entering the house. This is VERY delicate and must be handled with care when installing. Though packed very well, the first lamp HD sent arrived severely damaged. Many of the individual blown glass pieces were missing or crushed and rolling around in the mailing pack. It seems the damage may have occurred at the design studio before being packed, not during transport when drop-shipped, but can't be sure. It also took the first package almost a month to arrive. We wound up returning this one directly to our local HD store, and then ordered a second one (with trepidation). This lamp arrived withing 5 days, damage free. We really love this unique piece and recommend it to anyone wanting something unique and artisan. Just be aware that it is very delicate and needs to be handled and installed with care to protect the individual hand-blown stained glass pieces.
