Poor glazing on bowl

The manufacturer did terrible job glazing the toilet. Especially in the bowl makes it hard to clean.

Easy to install, flush valve and fill valve were preinstalled by American Standard. Toilet flushes really well best flushing toilet I have ever had. Very quit fill valve and flushes quit. I am a plumber by trade.

I bought two of these toilets the same day. One is perfect no issues and the other leaks and keeps refilling. I really like the toilets, the seat height is great, the soft closing lids, I like the way they flush.

Toilets are toilets but the Champion is elite. Best toilet I've seen in 70 flushing years of experience.

My 3rd or 4th American Standard toilet

Flushes as well as, if not better than, the American Standard Cadet that it's replacing.

Product issues

6 Months after installing this toilet there are issues with flushing and the tank valve. American Standard is replacing the parts but I have to install them which means a complete reinstall of the toilet. This is the same issue as the previous toilet which was not replaced as I did not have the purchase receipt.

A birthday toilet?

This is a great toilet and the water level is adjustable! So wonderful to have this great flushing toilet, no more holding down on the handle! The soft closing seat is nice too!

It is a little taller than we were expecting or used too.

Slight Leak

I like many things about this toilet, but I am still having a problem with a leak between the bowl and tank. It seems like the leak is less, but still a few drops come out.

Works GREAT!

Okay, so toilets aren't the jazziest things to talk about, but the ones installed in our home by the builder were truly awful, so when they don't work well, it IS a problem. I did my research, including speaking with my Build.com representative who went over the specifics I was interested in, and together we made a good choice, I'm happy to say. I purchased two of these American Standard Champion toilets--one for each bathroom in our home--and even with the low-flush, water-saving feature, they work extremely well and just as advertised. Saving water is a big plus, and working as advertised IS terrific if you get my drift. It's not the super-quietest, but that's to be expected with the powerful flush required to do the job right using this small amount of water. (I will likely not have to use the ole' plunger again!) The chair height / comfort height is nice, as is the linen color, which I wanted, rather than a
