Love the style and elegance. The one thing I had forgotten to look at was did it com3 with an escutcheon plate, and it did not. Had to postpone installation and order from American Standard. Otherwise great faucet.

Looks great but handle quality poor

I really loved this when we installed it. It looks great and is solid. But about 2 months after installation the handle just fell off. There is a tiny hex screw that holds the handle on and the natural turning motion makes it come unscrewed. Custome service basically shrugged and said 'too bad, screw it back on'. Handle falls off every 3 to 4 weeks. I did reach out to customer service for extra screws (afraid I will strip this one), but no response. Just frustrating...

I love the faucet but, quality is subpar

I've had this faucet for several years. The gasket inside the sprayer head will eventually deteriorate and squish down to the point that it greatly restricts flow through the sprayer head. This happens once a year where I have to contact customer service and ask for a sprayer head replacement. Luckily they warranty this faucet but, I expect more out of a $500 faucet.

Disappointed in American Standard

I purchased this faucet in 2020 and now it it leaking from the spray toggle button. American standard usually make good products but I’m disappointed.

NOT a touch faucet

Faucet name and specifications say this is a touch faucet but it is NOT. It is a normal faucet. The "activation method" should say HANDLE. I saw the March 2018 review that said it was not motion sensor but I was expecting a touch faucet. Why hasn't this been corrected? I am very disappointed Lowe's.

New house, new faucet , new bad habit, lol

In December 2018 we bought a new house. While new I wanted some luxury and asked for a hands free kitchen faucet. Hubby felt generous and got me the Beale kitchen faucet. I loved it, love it now and will always love it. I can recommend it without any hesitation, except one. Be warned, you’ll get so used to the touch less faucet, that you expect all kitchen faucets to do the same, so if you visit your sister, you’ll discover her damned faucet doesn’t work, it’s the OLD WAY, one actually has to Turn on the darn thing. Bad habit, but I love my bad habit, just like I love junk food, not necessary but oh so good

This looked enormous in the package when it first arrived, so I worried a little bit. But once it was installed, it looked great. I really love the pull-down sprayer and the magnet snap-back into place. It's been in for about 6 weeks and so far, so good. Nice to have just the one hole in the countertop, makes everything easy to clean.

not the faucet in the demo video, bulky

I thought I was purchasing a faucet with "touch-free" capabilities, like the demo video shows. The model that was delivered is much bulkier and lacks the no touch feature. I wouldn't have looked twice at this model if it weren't for the "touch-free" ability.

Stylish

I purchased this product a few months ago and have been pleased with its appearance and features. The one issue has been the strength of the water flow which is much less than my previous kitchen faucet.

NOT a hand sensored faucet!!!

The picture and video of this faucet are deceiving. This model does NOT have a hands free sensor as depicted in the picture and video. It is a nice looking faucet and functions like a regular faucet. I don’t dislike the faucet, it’s just not what I was led to believe I was buying!

This is a great faucet, very well made with nice features. instructions were simple and easy to follow, no special tools were needed. Most people would be able to install this in under an hour. Chrome is back in again, and seems to be the designers choice currently. Make sure you have Teflon tape for all the connects, this way you wont have issues later with leaks.

Being American Standard I had some expectations. They were not met. First the installation, easy enough if you are not replacing a three hole faucet as the escutcheon needed to cover the excess holes is not in this kit (would have been nice). If you already have one (I did) or don't mind the extra cost, no biggie. Second, the sprayer is plastic. If you are going to pay upper mid range prices you should not have to settle for ABS. Third, the sprayer does not lock into place securely enough (in my opinion), and that's why you're reading this, for my opinion! There are some other minor issues, but you get the idea, move along, this is not the faucet you're looking for.

Great looking kitchen faucet. I love the built in spray. It has two spray options. The spray head is held in place by a magnetic technology. My old faucet would droop , the weights never quite did the job of keeping the spray in place when not hand held. I love that it's lead free. They promise a lifetime of drip free performance. I am always happy with American standard. It's a name I trust.

This kitchen faucet is packaged for a one hole kitchen sink. My sink has three holes and requires an optional base plate which I have yet to acquire so my comments are going to be made based on observation of the product. The faucet is heavy and appears well made, however there are some parts such as the one hole base plate that is included that could be more stout. Overall it appears to be a good product.

This faucet is fine, but I personally wouldn't recommend it because having been through two kitchen remodels and planning a third, I think that the faucet is the #1 most important item you can buy. I think if you can afford stainless or solid metal, invest in a better quality faucet. If not, this one looks fine and works well. I just prefer a more solid and longer-lasting finish and parts.

This review is for American Standard Beale Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Polished Chrome (Model # 4931300.002). I have come across quite a few kitchen faucets in the past few years and I think this faucet from American Standard is one of the best. Installation was easy and straight foward. Water pressure is very good. Love the clean, simple and yet modern design. Pull-out and retract is smooth and effortless. Overall a very good faucet.

[Rewarded Review] Faucet for all

This is a terrific faucet. First, installation is a breeze: just three screws underneath before hooking the pipes and that's it, it is operational. Much, much easier than other faucets that I have installed.

[Rewarded Review] VERY NICE!!

This faucet came with everything needed to install in my kitchen. The instructions were very clear and easy to read. After examining the parts and the quality of the materials used in this faucet, I find it to be of very high quality and the added height is a plus when washing larger pans or bowls. The pull out spray comes in very handy and works well. I highly recommend this faucet kit.
