Great buy

Love this item. The color fits my space really well. Came well packaged and is great quality. Was easy to assemble. I’m really pleased!

Easy assembly. Decent Value.

For $*** (on sale) this shelf was a decent value. It arrived in box that looked very damaged but the contents were well protected. Each shelf is 11.5” wide not the 14.5” as advertised. Only the top shelf is 14.5” - so be warned. Assembly was easy. One person could do it but two people are recommended make fast work of it. The shelves are not solid wood. I don’t know why I expected that for the price but I did. In any case, no heavy objects should go on the shelves. Pro tip: during assembly, do not tighten the bolts holding the rear support structure all the way. Wait until the unit is fully assembled and all other bolts are tightened. This will keep the rear support from bowing outward. If bowing still occurs, leave bolts only finger tight. I liked this bookcase enough to order a second one just days later but because overstock likes to play games with pricing the second shelf was more - even with coupons. Dumb!

Very good Buy.

I bought this as a Valentines day gift for my girlfriend. I redid/ painted the office and wanted her to have something nice. It is very sturdy and very easy to assemble. However the quality I thought would be a little bit better. But overall a great buy. She loves it and we are both College students and have heavy books. Only downfall is we have to have book ends on each shelf. But that is on me.

I would buy again

I am extremely picking when it comes to purchasing furniture. Trying to find the right bookshelf to cohesively go with all my bedroom furniture without looking to matchy was a struggle. I purchase a beauty gold bookshelf prior to purchasing this bookshelf and I loved it via the images but in person just wasn't what I needed. I saw this particular bookshelf and instantly feel in love but was concerned about it looking fake. It's STUNNING! It fits perfectly and ties everything together well. There's plenty of shelf space and for the price I highly suggest purchasing one!

Cheap shelf that looks better in the pictures.

We chose this shelf for extra storage in our kitchen, which it is and will provide. On the bright side, the shelves are well spaces and the shelf is sorta sturdy. However, the pictures make it look a lot nicer quality than it is in actuality. The shelves are hollow and laminate. The frame is hollow tubing. If it weren't such a pain to return it would be going back. It looks cheap and isn't worth the money that is being asked for it. Very disappointed.
