Nice distinctive detailed dark economical cover. Attractive smooth surface with decorative border. Heavy cast metal feel. Smooth outer surface. Precise flat fit. Great for oddly placed electrical box plate when plastic, painted to match, cover isn't the right fit. The reason this antique nickel plate was selected. Well made. Elegant antique nickel wall plate. It goes well with our stainless steel kitchen décor. We love the brushed antique nickel and the darkened outer border trim. But it falls short in only one way: The provided screws were barely longer than the depth of the item itself, and thus did not engage with the threads of the junction box, which is buried only about 1/8 of an inch deeper than usual, due to the stainless steel plate added to the wall. The original (much longer) screws had to be re-used.

Classy wall plate to cover up an existing phone jack outlet. I used this so in case I wanted to use the phone line again it would be accessible. This item came with the hardware but the screws were just a little to short to grab the threads. This wall plate is decorative and it actually stands out. I needed something decorative because of the location of the box.

I like that this is actual metal, not plastic painted to look like metal. It's got a real old-world style, and I like that it's REAL, not fake lookalike. It has a gentle brushed look, but not too harsh. The screws are JUST long enough if the box is flush with the sheetrock, so if yours is recessed too bit, you may need longer screws (bronze ones!). Buy one each trip, work on it slowly, then they won't feel as pricey :-).

I have used this product line in multiple color finishes and have been very pleased with each of them, This item is very nicely finished and offers a durable finish as well, that will last for years to come. Available in multiple colors, the tone is consistent across the entire line. Unlike so many reasonably priced covers, these are very well made, with a solid feel and touch of class that will add warmth to any room.

Nice looking wall plate

Good looking wall plate, a nice change from basic plastic. Really finished the look of the room after replacing the other plates with the same style.
