Great value for high quality hinges that last

We remodeled a living room with built-in cabinets. These hinges replaced the identical hinges that were in nickel finish. The former Amerock nickel hinges like this have been going strong for 20 years with no issues and we expect these will do the same. Amerock makes quality products at a good price.

works on new cabinet but not as replacement hinge of older hinge

even tho this appears to be like the original, it is not, it will not work on a cabinet that used the original and you are changing color, it is slightly different, if you are using on a new cabinet it will be fine, we ended up spray painting or old hinges because they fit where these would not

I bought these hinges to replace the broken hinges on a computer and file cabinet combo. The file section was on wheels and you could rotate it out to access your files. But, 2 of the 3 hinges were broken. I tried to find new hinges at all of the sources I had around me - such as home Home Depot and Lowes and Menards and could not find anything close to this style of hinge. That is when I turned to Home Essentials Direct and found these hinges. These hinges are a lot more sturdier than the old ones that I replaced. And they could not be any easier to install. Saved the day for my neighbor - she was thrilled. i would not hesitate to buy more of this brand and style of hinge again if I ever have need of them again. God Bless ! James J.

These are great hinges but I broke one putting them in. There is a center screw hole on the cabinet mount that makes you think you can scree it first and then screw in the other two screws. Don't do it. I broke the hinge and screwed it all the way down thinking it was tougher than it was. They operate well and look great but be careful and screw the top in first. then the bottom, then the center on the cabinet mount.

On top of that the one has bent out of usable shape just from opening and closing. Two hinges per 10 lb door. There's nothing unusual or special about this application. Just a cheap hinge made out of cheap metal.

This is the only hinge I could find that can be installed without cutting a mortise. You can set doors flush and only a small gap shows. Better than euro hings that always have a big awkward gap behind the overlay. Nicely finished. Only negative is that the hinge pin could be a bit larger to provide for heavier doors.

They come with all the screws you need and are available in a variety of colors to match your project. The wrap makes it easy to install on 3/4 inch stock, but be sure to get the partial wrap version if you are not working with 3/4 inch stock.
