Purchased for a newly remodeled office. Client and employees that use them are very pleased. Only slight negative is the time it takes to assemble.

Very Pretty Desk

It was packed very well so no damage pieces from shipping. Easy to follow directions. This will be my primary work desk and the top is not laminate so I put a plastic protector over the entire surface. It will wear off if there isn't anything to protect the surface.

Great purchase. Love the color and it’s very heavy material - not flimsy. Easy to put together. I’m a pretty handy female, but it was not difficult. File cabinet is beautiful and is the same height as desk so it extends the length. Glad I went with gray. Classy.

Not happy with quality

It’s a beautiful looking desk in the pictures but not so good quality in real. I know it’s a MDF material but still. It was coming apart before I started assembling it.

Excellent product. Very easy to assemble and clear instructions but since it has multiple parts will take a couple of hours at least. One of the pieces was damaged on delivery but called the number provided and they were great and had a replacement sent out and I received it within 5 days.

Nice desk

The best part was the easy step by step instructions and everything labeled including the parts. We finished putting the desk together and I haven’t used it yet. Yes, it’s basically particle board with a laminate finish and I needed a color to match some existing shelves so the antique white was perfect.

Salinas grey desk and hutch

Love this beautiful desk - it is working out great - the hutch holds al my needs as well as the drawer and deep shelves. Its perfect!!

Finally, a "grown-up" home office for me!

After spending too long doing my work at the dining room table, I decided to convert a room in my house into an office, and bought set this for myself as a treat/incentive...and it IS a treat! I love the look of it, it was easy to assemble, and there is plenty of storage space for all my supplies, files, and other work-related items. I love this set!

Sturdy and great storage

I purchased the gray barn cape cod l shaped desk for my son. I love the storage and the hutch, and the matching file cabinet. Assembly was a challenge, but easily accomplished with the directions.

Love the desk, bad for the environment

So. Many. Boxes. So. Much. Styrofoam. I felt so guilty disposing of it all once unpacked. Love the desk and it wasn't terribly difficult to build. 2 pieces did arrive cracked in half from delivery, but Overstock was super quick to respond and ensure I received exact replacements. This desk has tons of storage and is a nice color. Looks true to the photos.

Exactly what is Shown

I bought the whole package: Desk with Hutch, Filing Drawers and Bookshelf. Shipping estimated 3-4 weeks, it showed up in 3 days! Super easy to put together! Yes it took time (the desk was the longest at 1.75h, total time estimate was just under 4h, I took my time to make sure I wasn't making any mistakes) however the instructions are REALLY easy to follow, I mean REALLY really easy. 2 people make the job a little easier with moving the pieces as you assemble, however I would have been ok to do it alone. All visible screws have cover plugs, one part even came with the required wood glue. Colour is exactly as shown. The Hutch's lower shelf has a metal bar for support (I have mounted strip lights here). Great product, I highly recommend it if you are looking to upgrade your home office as I did.

Beautiful piece

Beautiful desk and hutch. The color is spot on. Very durable and sturdy. Quality materials. It is very heavy. Lots of space. Can fit any size desk chair.

Too many parts to put together

This item is so hard to put together. Comes with a booklet and 23 steps. Would not recommend to buy this item. Too many parts to put together like ikea... omg

Great looking desk for the price

The desk is great! easily put together, as long as you follow directions, There is a good amount of pieces, so it will take time. But it is worth it! The only thing that is happening is the desk is starting to fray on the edges, so buy yourself some kind of corner protection.
