My eplacement filters arrived as ordered, in a timely manner. And our water tastes great!

Changing the membrane

Changing the filters is easy, but changing the membrane is difficult at best. You have to take it off the rack, put it on the floor with the wrench and force it off. Not easy, not convenient, and gets water all over. There has to be a better way!!

Terrible customer service

The product is fine. The customer service is the worst. Shipping took a week to leave the warehouse. It took almost 3 weeks to receive my items. I recommend you buy from Amazon instead of directly from Apec.

Great product will only use apec for my reverse osmosis system. I believe they have the best product on the market. I have well water and you cant even tell. I have had the system for probably 5 years now and could not be happier! Thanks paul

We have had an APEC water filter for 5 years. It does a great job and is comparatively inexpensive

Fantastic customer service and telephone

Fantastic customer service and telephone help. But my husband and I found it very difficult to change filters under the sink. The water filtration system was mounted on the inside of a low cabinet. It’s very hard to reach and at a strange angle.

Easy setup and it works. Very good water pressure and 2 gallon reserve. Even my ice cubes are close to clear. It does have that distilled water taste but I now have peace of mind. Minerals can come from my food. I have the faucet at the sink and my refrigerator hooked up. The dispenser stays brand new now, no mineral stains.

I recieved this product for my RO system that was already installed in the house I bought. Thought the price was higher than I wanted, but the kit of 5 filters is cheaper than buying filters individually. Had a plumber install the filters while i was at work. Plumber couldn't get the blue "coconut" filter to go in. He told me by phone that it was the wrong size. I left a less-than-pleasant review on line. Lo and behold APEC customer service (Yadira was her name I think) and asked how she could help. I took pics and dimensions of the connections and emailed them to her, and - lo and behold - it was correct size afterall. My plumber just didn't follow the instructions that came with the kit. Yadira confirmed it was the right size and was gracious enough to send me an easy-to-follow YouTube video on how to install all 5 filters. Got the blue filter installed and voila I'm in business. Great to see such fabuous and caring customer service behind a product. Yadira, you deserve a raise! (tell your boss I said so :-)) I will buy from APEC again. And sorry about spouting off in the first review.....

This reverse osmosis system was very recently installed as part of a kitchen remodel. The plumber wasn't familiar with APEC, but said it was the easiest he ever installed. I was impressed with reviews from other customers, as I wanted a quality product that has reasonably priced replacement filters. So far, I really like the 3/8" water flow, water taste and nickel finish. I only wish the faucet style was more contemporary or I had a choice of styles.
