I will buy this product for as long as my furnace holds out.

I figured that I saved about $120 by purchasing from Supply House and doing it myself. No OTR fee and no Labor cost.

This filter was easy to install in AprilAire 2200 box. Strips of cloth across the filter did a good job spreading the filtering element evenly.

Helps reduce dust and allergens. Been using these filters for 20 years. I like the auto ship savings and ease of using the auto ship feature online.

It different from the 201 that home depot sold in the store the straps that holds the filter is wider and I had modify the filter holder to make it work. Not happy I will not buy this again

Unusable (without upgrade kit?)

As no frame, pretty flimsy and not easy to install. Completely fell apart in the furnace and been lucky to notice it during a tune-up check and before much damage could happen. I have the AprilAir Model 2200. Maybe it works well with upgrade kit but then this should be noted in the description. Moving back to the Nordic Pure filter I've used before.

April air original filter with a huge surface of filtering. I change once a year and it is slightly soiled

AprilAire added the tape to make installation much easier. I still used the comb spacers, but there was not working out the spacing. They just fit perfectly once the filter was in the filter housing and expanded. A huge improvement.

I always use the genuine April Aire filters & have never had a problem. Just wish they would stop increasing so much in price every year, but welcome to the world of unfettered inflation over the past 3 years.

not happy with product. the pleats on one side are too close or stuck together, reducing air flow thru the filter. system thinks the filter needs changed!!!

Although these 201 Filter replacements are made as replacements to be used in Space-Gard units they utilize s ribbon to separate the pleats in the filter. Those ribbons need to be cut gor the filter to be installed in the Space-Gard frame. It works - but not exactly a OEM replacement.

The filter media is fine but it is a pain...

The filter media is fine but it is a pain in the neck to install. The string in the accordion style media pulls out of the staple that is holding it and rips the material. Extremely difficult to align the media between the plastic tines that keeps it spread apart.

Filter Too Thick - Do Not Buy - Poor Replacement

Material is too thick. Installed this filter and furnace would shut down after a few minutes. Had to call a repairman for service to troubleshoot the problem. He showed me the difference between an authentic Aprilaire filter and this cheap China product. This China filter was 3 times the thickness which would not allow proper airflow.

Correct product/ decent price.

Good product at a good price. The April air filter was extremely well packaged by supply house. However the April Aire cardboard container was beat up a little bit and taped closed. The actual filter inside the April Aire outer sleeve was in perfect condition.

I like to have one on hand. Since they are actual Aprilaire brand, they should be just like the previous filters I've used. The processing and shipping were very fast and efficient as well as at a good price. So I'm quite happy and will use SupplyHouse in the future.

Excellent service

Our twin pack arrived within a few days and with the demonstration by our HVAC person, i see that it is a neat, clean, and easy removal of the old filter and replacement of the new. So much better than the cardboard substitute unit we purchased from a big box store as soon as we purchased our new to us home. Also less expensive by getting the dual package than the single unit from the store that did not actually fit the space. So glad we found Alpine.

Aprilaire 201 Merv 10 Filter Replacement

These filters are doing just fine, no problems. Depending on the air quality you have outside determines how long the filters last. With a lot of construction going on everywhere, there's constant dust in the air so these filters last about three to four months. This is on our AC unit. We have a very good name brand unit. the control unit on the wall will let us know when we need a new filter replacement.

Poor replacement for genuine, original filter

As an average, cheap filter, it is probably of decent quality. It does not, however accurately fit an Aprilaire 2200 housing and therefore becomes a very poor filter. The cardboard construction is similar to that found in cheap, smaller filters and is not even wrapped in plastic when shipped. Overall, it is a poor value as a replacement for the original Aprilaire filter. I discarded it and purchased the correct filter.
