The design and colors are really pretty when you see the small thumbnail. However, close up, because it is a printed rug (pattern is not woven in), the outlines (edges of the designs) are not very sharp and the colors seem a little duller. It would be a very useful and attractive rug on the patio or in a playroom or sun porch, but not suitable for a more formal or elegant room. Can be hosed clean.

Beautiful colors

I had been looking at this rug over and over again because I though it was so pretty but hated to have such a pretty rug outdoors subjected to rain and pollen. But, I decided to order two sizes and I am very happy with the rugs and how pretty they are. I would have given 5 stars but I'm not crazy about the binding on the rugs. It has some kind of white glue type stuff that binds it together and I noticed during one of the rainfalls that it looked like it dissolved into the rug. After the rug dried I didn't notice it so it must have dried and disappeared (??)
