Easy to install and set up. Wasn’t expecting to get the whole house filter included. That was a nice extra. Only recommendation would be to get a water test kit so you can set the water usage before regeneration. It’s been up and running for a couple of months now.

This is an early review as I just installed the unit. Had significant problems getting the air out to allow the unit to siphon up the salt water. Took 3 regens before working. Just trying to let other users know in advance. At this point I would still recomend the unit.

Needs biweely programming

The functionality as a water softener seems to be doing great. Im honestly not sure if our water actually needs to be softened but the house had one when we moved in (city water). My issue with the unit is that it needs biweekly adjustment of the clock in order to ensure that it regenerates at night. The clock internal to the unit runs about twenty-five minutes fast per day meaning that after two weeks it is off nearly six hours. Not a huge deal but it is annoying to be doing dishes and have the family taking showers before bed and have the unit kick on. Otherwise it would be a four star softener. Three stars is average. Id buy this unit again but address the clock function immediately with the manufacturer as opposed to dealing with it for two years like this.

I couldn't get Sears go install it.

I can't really give you a review because Sears.Com will not install the unit. At least the folks in the Manassas/Manassas Park VA area indicate that they don't install water softeners. Maybe Sears should stop selling them.

Destroyed my hot water heater

The system worked fine for almost 2 years before it had a catastrophic failure and flooded my plumbing with melted resin beads. It destroyed my on demand hot water heater and I had to also replace all my toilet valves and it almost got my washing machine and dishwater. Their warranty only covers replacement parts and they took no responsibility for causing thousands of dollars of damage.

Excellent water softener!

Purchased this 48000 grain water softener from Factory Pure. I did install myself the system. Thanks to Factory Pure for sending a water filter as a complimentary gift along the softener. The water we are getting now is like silk. It makes large amount of foam, feels very smooth, doesn't smell and taste good to drink. It was a pretty easy install. My son helped and having 4 hands made it pretty easy. Did not follow instructions about wrapping Teflon tape 8 to 12 times, only did 4 and had a leak. Followed directions correctly and completed the install with no leaks. The upright tank is quite heavy so two people doing install helped greatly.

The delivery is terrible, the entire box inside the brain tank was missing!!! I need to call and let them know what are missing!!!!! This waste me another week to wait. The funny thing is the box of brain tank has "Inspected" tape on it. What have they inspect??? The brain tank inside was kind of dirty.

High Quality, Easy to install Softener

If you read the instructions carefully, follow them meticulously (new manual version is great), this is a straight forward easy install. The digital setup for the control head is a little bit of a learning curve, but again, the instructions are pretty clear. You need some basic plumbing skills to install this correctly, but if you can do that, then the install is fairly easy. I downloaded the install manuals from the website ahead of time, read them thoroughly to familiarize myself with all the parts and installation. That helped. Everything arrived by UPS in excellent condition, and some of the parts were already assembled, saving me some time and trouble. We've had a water softener for many years, and this unit provides great quality softened water. The price is very fair considering the free delivery. I did have to call customer service one time about an EXTRA part they sent me, and found that service to be quick, friendly, and helpful. It's a nice looking unit too, very clean and neat in appearance. I'm very pleased so far. Remember, don't rush the install or the unit setup, follow the instructions to a T, and you'll be very happy with this unit.

I purchased this in April of 2020 during the pandemic. The brine tank float shutoff valve does not keep the tank from overflowing each time it does a back-flow/rejuvenation. I have tried several times to contact Aquasure USA, and I haven't been able to talk to anyone. I have watched the videos on how to trouble shoot, and that has not worked either. I have also emptied the brine tank and reset the system. I have gallons of water hitting the floor per minute for 20-30 minutes. I have installed a catch pan to capture it and take it to a drain, but the water is still getting on the floor. I will be purchasing a different brand from Lowes this week!!!!
