How do you remove or clean aerator on my delta

Messy!

DON'T BUY! They sure do look nice, but the rectangular aerator doesn't work and they splash everywhere and the water stream splits erratically. It's also a weird combination of height and bad pressure and a non conventional aerator stream. These were a huge mistake and now I'm stuck with them.

Extremely unhappy with finish

I purchased 5 of these for my house and I' m getting rid of them all. The finish NEVER stays clean. Every drop of water that lands on the faucet shows. The shower components have the same horrible finish. Am I suppose to leave a note for my guests to wipe the faucet and shower controls thoroughly after each use? I think not. I'm embarrassed to have them in my house.

Pour Flow

I ordered 2 of these faucets fir my double sink vanity. The one faucet was clogged from the start; my installer spent 2 hours repeatedly spraying compressed air in to get it flowing. While the flow rate is acceptable, it’s not as strong as the other faucet. Also the fancy spray pattern creates a lot of splash when you wash your hands. I wish I’d never bought these.

Dont let the looks deceive you-its AWFUL

I bought multiple Delta Ara products through my contractor/Ferguson. They looks so pretty out of the box, but are HORRIBLE in use. If you like looking at a product that seems like it came from a dirty highway rest stop or a seedy motel with a horrible housekeeper, then pick this. You cannot clean it. the photos i am attaching are AFTER trying to wipe them off. Delta Rep was contacted and said too bad- that's the way its supposed to be!

We had previously purchased this model with the channel spout. We found that the channel was not deep enough to keep the water from overflowing the sides. Expected the regular down-spout version to be 100% identical to the channel version in overall size but it appears that this model has grown vertically since our original purchase which meant I had to raise our medicine cabinets to clear the faucet. That said, this is a very good looking, feeling, and functioning faucet - one that will meet our needs for years. It was also very easy to install.

Installation was similar to other faucets. Two things make this a terrible product. First, the finish, which we selected so we would not have to constantly clean it like chrome, is extremely high maintenance. You can see every water spot and finger print and have to wipe it after every use.

like the style. Too short of reach. Terrible water flow.

I'm a designer so it blows me away when i have to find the things that the products designers completely missed. I like the look and the styling of the faucet. However The aerator is rectangular and the water sprays a criss cross pattern and splashes everywhere. With the short spout reach water splashes on the counter whenever you put something in the water stream. I cannot find a faucet that extends more towards the center of the drain away form the back to minimize splashing. A straight water stream and a couple more inches of reach and this would be one of the best modern looking faucets. Delta, if you need a designer that won't overlook the things users will complain about get in touch.

A very well built faucet. Solid construction and operation. Hook up was simple with all the lines installed. Finish was flawless and it came well packed and protected by Delta. Only annoying thing is the flat top to the spout. It is so dead on level that water just sits on it. My older version was more rounded in style and I did not have this issue. A slight oversight on my part when I decided to go with the Ara line of fixtures for my remodel. I do like the look and style of the line, so will have to live with it.

I like this faucet. This is the tallest faucet I could find, and really helps compensate for a short bathroom sink and prevents you from bending over to get your hands under the water. However, the fact that it's so tall can cause some splashing. I use a splash guard with it since I don't have an on-top of the counter basin with it.

The finish is what you'd expect from Delta. The fit was perfect. The water flow is just right for a vanity sink waterfall. There are less expensive waterfall faucets out there, but I'm not a big fan of buying off-brand plumbing fixtures or anything to do with water. Cut corner other places, not on lighting or plumbing fixtures. Note: this model does not have the pull-up drain control. It's meant for a pop-up drain, which is our application.

Nice looking, bad design

First, this product looks great, but the design makes it impossible to keep clean. Because you need to turn off the faucet with wet hands, everyone can't help but leave water marks on the spout. Second, we are very disappointed with the quality. We've had the faucet in our new home for less than a month and the back piece that controls the drain has broken off. It is a cheap, very thin piece of plastic and I'm fairly certain our cleaners did it because it does stick a bit when opening and closing.

Faucet sprays everywhere

I love the design and style of this faucet but I’m frustrated with the functionality. The water stream hits the metal rim of the drain in the sink and sprays up and out of the sink on to the countertop and on me. I’ve never seen anything like it. It does this even when the flow of water is very low. I have to wipe down the counter every time. I replaced the “aerator”? that controls the spray and it didn’t solve the problem. I have to put a wash cloth on the bottom of the sink to solve the problem. It also gets water spots unless you wipe the faucet down every time you finish using it.

I love this faucet! I got it to put in the wet bar in the screened in porch of my mother's house and it looks beautiful. It's just that it's such a large faucet I feel like it overpowers the smallness of the size sink she has in her porch. This faucet is better suited for really large sinks where the scale of the faucet can balance it out, aesthetically speaking. The water comes out of the spout smoothly even when the handle is wide open on full force. Again, the small size of the sink however, causes splashing outside of the sink so again I think the faucet is better suited for a large sink like the kind where the bowl sits atop the counter as opposed to below the counter. We'll probably redo her outdoor wet bar to get a new sink just to match the beauty of this faucet.

Very easy to install, once you take your time and check out the parts in the box. We tried this on a standard sink, and it really needs a bowl type as the riser is over a foot high. However, that's not against the product, but against our judgement that it would still look good, and also, the height makes it splash when used with the wrong type of sink. I would like to see the top part swivel, which would make it accomodate more sinks, but it is fixed. And it would be nice if you could remove the lower part of the riser- which would make it usable on standard sinks. All in all, though, it is very attractive and a good choice for those with the right type of sink.

This is a tall single handle centerset faucet, meant for applications where the faucet is mounted behind a surface-mounted bathroom sink. No escutcheon is included for covering up the right and left holes as one typically wouldn't be necessary in such an application. Also, no lift rod and slider are included for opening and closing the drain, again because that typically isn't incorporated into this type of application. The faucet is too tall to be used on a typical in-counter bathroom sink as the water will fall too great a distance and will most likely splash.

This faucet looks very nice once installed. It also has a heavy sturdy feel. The handle moves easily, smoothly, and stays where it's put. It's a taller faucet than the old one I removed. I much prefer this taller type of faucet.
