Design Nice, Smart Feature is Not Smart!

Setting up the connection to use the smart feature is anything but smart! It doesn’t recognize your account so you have to reset password, so you do and when you return to the app, it has started over and then you enter this loop going through this over and over. After a few tries your email blocks incoming email and then you can’t even reset your password from the Morn app and then try connecting again. Reviews were right that this is a tedious and annoying problem. Otherwise it’s great except that I paid extra for smart features and didn’t get it.

Not worth the additional cost for voice control.

Most of the advertised features are just frustrating.

Love this faucet so much I bought it again

I replaced this same faucet I bought in 2013 for this one. The faucet s great except I miss the motion detector when I place your hands under the faucet. I wish you hadn’t got rid of that it wa a GREAT feature.

App is Lacking, Learning Curve for Smart Features

Went from Delta Touch to this and while the installation was fairly easy, the learning curve for the apps and features can be steep. Linking my voice assistant to the faucet took several tries after failing to link just using the Google button on that step. I finally got it to work using m Moen credentials. After that, the app does not let you switch between metric and imperial and the temperature settings for "cold" "warm" and "hot" are difficult to change. Last, the Presets and Routines take a bit of trial and error and patience to get right and learn how the faucet will behave - sometimes it will start running immediately and others it will wait for you to wave over the sensor to start the flow.

Great idea with Wi-Fi. Too bad. Alexa is a hassle.

Four stars because one of the reasons I bought it was to have ability to interact with Alexa and as I read other reviews, it doesn’t work like that according to many other owners. I want things to be seamless. I want to turn the key and have the car turn on or the computer work when I push the power button, but when I tried to finish setting up my more faucet with Alexa, I hit a stopping point where I have to call Moen (naturally is closed. I have to call back in business hours) and it’s a hassle that I don’t want to deal with. I read other people have the same issues, which is unfortunate because I thought it be great to have Alexa, dispense water on command, etc.

Slow drip

faucet has slow drip ive tried all suggested fixes and nothing worked. Now they say looks like i'll need to replace it. It is approximately 10 years old. Household of 2 adults. Not worth the $

Never buy again - For 400.00$ I would have expecte

Had to change my network name and password; first time since we got the faucet about 21/2 years ago and it will not accept the change. (Every other device in my home easily resets - not Moen though. The faucet itself works well, the wifi connection is awful - very unfortunate.

Remarkable operation and ease of use!

This is an awesome example of what the designer must have thought during the design process winding up on the final product. The sensors that detect motion are different depending on which one is activated, and there is a manual override for folks who just want to use the handle. So much tech hidden in a user friendly package. My wife loves this faucet!

Love the idea of this faucet

I've had this faucet for over a year. Nothing but problems with it. Ended up purchasing the AC adapter hoping to solve the faucet issue where the faucet wouldn't dispense water manually or by motion. Most of the time the live control still works, but that defeats the touchless feature. I've factory reset I don't know how many times. Not a power issue, but either a bad control unit or bum software, and both mean more work for me. Paid about $500 for this. Wouldn't recommend.

Interface with Alexa is Strange

The faucet randomly comes on - unsure why but it seems to time out.

I had the fauce installed in December 07. It uses a lot of D batteries. In March 12 2024 the hot water would not stop flowing after changing batteries, disconnecting power. It's terrible.

Love it!

I replaced a lesser quality faucet for Moen. So glad I did! Best for dependability! I like the long hose and the high faucet to accommodate large items. It works so easily with one slight hand motion. Also great customer support when I had questions with the install!

Great faucet, mediocre smarts.

Had trouble getting the app to work correctly during the network connection process, but it DID connect. Have trouble getting voice commands or the app to bring the faucet to a set temperature and then dispense a set volume of water. Can set temperature fine. Can dispense set quantity fine. Can't do both at once - the faucet or app or something gets confused with multiple steps at once.

Works like a harm. Husband installed. There was a major problem with the wifi connection. What is not exlplained in directions or with some of the techs I contacted is that it needs to be connected to a 2 mg wifi- I have one that is both 2 and 5. Needs a separate connection to the 2g. Excellent and beyond service from Moen. After many days of frustration with the connection, a wonderful tech realized the problem, and all is well. Only problem now, is that we expect the hand wave from our other faucets!!

Stopped working after one year

I was very happy with this faucet until it stopped working. I changed batteries, still the faucet is completely dead. I can't even switch it on manually. No water in my kitchen at this time. Have to activate replacement, but it will take a few days to get and install new faucet, so I won't have any water in the kitchen during this busy time of holidays (((

unreliable and NO manual override

I have this for one month now and it works good until the pump broke down. Cust Serv says they can replace the pump but it will take 5 days to arrive for standard shipping! So we wont be able to use the faucet unless we pay for expedited shipping. Unusable if pump breaks bec it is all electronic. Save yourself some time and money and DO NOT BUY THIS. Poor design. They should have a bypass switch to manually use the faucet in case this happens.

I love it, but needs improvement.

I really love the idea of the Arbor Smart faucet. It will dispense measured water which is fairly accurate. The motion sensor reacts fairly quickly and integrates with Alexa. The faucet is sleek and attractive in my home and I love the stain resist option.

Great, as long as it's on med-high flow

Installation: very easy. The provided instructions were thorough, and it took about an hour. I also installed the optional AC power device.

Easy to install and easy to connect to Alexa

Looks great and works great. This is our third faucet in our second sink in 32 years at this residence. Wanted an upgrade to make the replacement fun and this was perfect. We have Alexa everything and a great WiFi mesh system. Nothing has been this easy to connect to Alexa. Less than thirteen gallons have passed through the faucet, so no opinion on battery life or Alexa outage issues. Got the matching soap dispenser too. It looks great also. I don’t know if we’ll use the smart features much. Might be useful to ask for a couple of quarts of water for pasta while multitasking dinner prep. This form is asking me to rate durability. I’ll rate the previous Delta faucet and hope this one is as good.
