Reasonable and Good Quality Shower Door

DIY Basco Pivoting Door.

The box was sketchy as it was already open and taped. The brushed nickel water diverter for the lower rail was slightly bent, but no biggie. Most importantly the glass was good. All the hardware was there. Instructions are tedious, but well worth it. Read the night before installation memorized all the parts and order of operation assembly was a Breeze, The door wasn’t too heavy to lift or do solo. Make sure you have lots of soft padding to protect the tempered glass. I purchased longer screws; so I could hit the studs and also increased up to a 3 1/2”, #10 pan head screws for the pivoting side so I could hit the studs and not worry about using Mollys.

The door work out fine! It would be easier if the door was assemble !

Looks nice. Installation was reasonable and straight forward. I wish I had replaced that shower curtain sooner!!

nice shower door but drip rail lost adhesion

Easy to install and looks nice in our bathroom remodel, but the drip rail lost adhesion and fell off after about 6 months. I don’t understand why you would choose to attach a drip rail to the door with two sided tape in an environment that is wet and humid. That is a poor design choice and now I need to find a replacement that can be press fit to the door.

3600-40B Door and installation

Door was shipped with no damage, it fit well and functions as expected. Installation was for a smaller shower module, so the fact that this door has no header makes it easy for passage in and out. Shower door frame is minimal, so requires less cleaning maintenance. The shower was not set completely plumb but the shower door framing allowed for enough adjustment to correct that problem. I would buy it again.

The hinge is faulty & our shower door fell off...

The hinge is faulty & our shower door fell off the hinges and onto the floor. This door is heavy so I’m extremely grateful no one was hurt.
