Bathroom sinks

Was not happy that one of the sinks was defective and had to order another one

Bought three Artifact sinks and was so disappointed I returned them. The top edges were rarely straight and noticeably so. Two of the long edges were humped up in the middle by almost 3/16 of an inch. It has a very shallow pitch, much shallower than their online spec sheets indicated, so I leveled one sink over a 5 gallon pail and poured water in to see how it drained. It drained better than expected, but left large beads of water on the surface that would not drain. Using a marble I discovered that some of the corners where the sides meet the bottom were dipping slightly below the bottom of the sink, and the marbles made strange, lengthy, circuitous, not straight, routes to the drain. I figured I simply didn’t understand the difficulties involved with producing and drying clay sinks and maybe things weren’t as bad as I imagined. But I returned them and bought three new sinks from an overseas company for our two new bathrooms - and they were perfect in every way. I thought Kohler was a name to trust and respect. Sadly, I’m not so sure anymore…….
