[Rewarded Review] Great sturdy spade

The quality is really nice. Very sturdy and cuts through hard pack ice cream easily. The handle is riveted to the full tang, so it should last indefinitely. I never put wood handles in the dishwasher and I don’t recommend doing that as this will weaken the wood handle. I definitely recommend this spade.

We used the scooper for our ice cream party. the wood we worry causing splinters and it is harder to scoop ice cream with this scooper versus other scoopers.

Just like the old ice cream scoop we had years ago.

Older was better

My previous ice cream scoop was a bit thicker (the metal) and the handle was a bit smoother. this one works great and was a good price.

I have had one of these for over 30 years and it is still in use. I have ordered another one for myself and then some for my grown children. I hope it lasts for them as long as mine has.

I bought one of these on Amazon recently. It was flimsy and $9 plus shipping. It broke within a month. I found Opentip by accident and couldn't resist the low cost so I bought 3. The quality is amazing. Very solid piece, better than my old one that I lost at a potluck years ago. Shipped quick.

I had one like this 20+ yrs. ago and lost it when moving. Saw a lady on FB cooking with one like I used to have.(making gravy). Loved this spoon, but never knew it was called a ice cream spoon. I brought 2, one for me and one for my daughter...

Love this. Best Ice Cream Scoop and scrambled egg utensil. I actually use it for mixing fudge as well. I had to get two more of these I use them so much and my girls always swipe them. They've been warned this time, lol. Very sturdy and worth the price. I would recommend and probably will buy more. Great as an add for a housewarming or bridal gift too or for someone who has a small living quarters with the ability to use for many things.

Bigger than I expected but Looks just like the pictures! No flaws in the wood, which I find can be the biggest issue... but I came pretty much perfect! There’s also no weird smell, which I like the most!
