Handshower Leaks!

Tub filler looks nice, but the handshower totally leaks after you've turned it off and hung it back up. Water drips all down the tub filler and pools on the floor. Have to wipe down the fixture and the floor after every use. Huge mess.

Looks Great, Poor Quality

While this looks very nice once installed, if you use the detachable shower head, it will leak badly when you hang it up. I have tried laying it down on its side for an hour to drain but that still doesn’t stop it from leaking once I hang it back up.

Great tub filler

We ordered this tub filler as part of a master bath remodel. It is beautifully styled and seems quite sturdy. We ordered this particular faucet because the height was under 40”. Many of these stand alone tub fillers were weirdly tall. My contractor had no problem installing it. There’s excellent water pressure from both the spout and the handheld sprayer.

Easy to install

I bought this faucet as a replacement of a lower quality foreign product that leaked really bad. The OVE Athena is well built, easy to install with great installation instructions and video.

Beautiful and high quality

Very impressed with this fixture. Nice finish (Satin finish) and very study unlike others that I was considering. Also love the height of the fixture which is perfect for the location that it occupies in the Master Bath right under a window. This fixture includes the divertor valve inside the fixture and all the needed hoses. This was installed by a plumber.

Good quality for the price. Definitely recommend it to someone on a budget. Flat black finish is elegant and just the right height for a freestanding tub.

Great syle

We just remodeled our master bathroom. Installed a freestanding bathtub and the Athena tub filler. The quality is excellent and it is also beautiful. It fits in with the rest of our decor.

It looks great. We've had it for over a year. We did need to get a plumber to adjust the internal valve because the water wasn't getting hot enough. The company was great about sending instructions to do it. There is some delayed leakage when you turn it from sprayer to faucet, so you have to wait before you hang the sprayer back up or it leaks all over the floor.

Beautiful and functional faucet

Beautiful and functional meets in this faucet. This is a second one I order. Now in trendy matte black for our second house. The first one I bought about 6 years ago was in brushed nickel and it still works great! No issues whatsoever and it looks stunning! Highly recommended product!

Pretty nice and looks nice. Let’s see if it works right. Ohhh that’s right I can’t yet because it’s been weeks now will be over a month because they can’t deliver a free standing tub without damaging it. Royally screwing up my contractors install and costing me money having to reschedule! I’ll revise the review once I get it all working if that ever happens.

I would say; that it would be best for a professional plumber to install this; not your home handyman. It requires a lot of measuring to get placement right, etc. However once installed, it provides a functional and decorative accent.

Transitional/Modern Brushed Nickel Tub Faucet

It is exactly as pictured! Seems sturdy. I'm not thrilled that it shows fingerprints so easily, but I think that would happen with any of the brushed nickel tub faucets.

Since installing over a year ago, I've never been able to use tub because faucet doesn't run hot water. Lukewarm, yes. Hot, no. A lukewarm bath doesn't cut it. What a waste of a renovation. And to boot, I did all kinds of research on faucets--several came up with bad reviews because they didn't run hot water. Somehow this one didn't come up on my radar. No mention in reviews whatsoever. Don't waste your time purchasing.

This faucet was bought in May 2016 it lasted less than 3 years from installation before it broke. The piece where the shower hose connects to the tower broke off. The company said they do not sell a replacement part and it is not repairable.

good tub filler

All in all this is a good tub filler. It looks much more expensive than it is especially since it comes with a built in valve and diverter. The hand shower is a must for cleaning the tub regularly or just right after you use it. I especially liked the fact that it was just the right height. Some fillers are so tall. It was easy to install, packaged nicely and went in in no time. We did have an issue with a leak at the hose (which is why I gave it 4 stars) but without any hesitations Miseno sent us a completely brand new faucet. It is nice to know that Miseno stands 100% behind their products.
