I installed the Athena freestanding Tub Faucet myself last week. The Satin Nickel Faucet is absolutely beautiful and the directions were easy to follow. I did call Ove Decors Customer Service for assistance with two Questions I had. One involved removing the plastic limiter on the hot water valve. Jennifer immediately emailed me detailed instructions that were very simple to follow. I had the plastic limiter removed in 5 minutes. My other Question was regarding the length of the included hot and cold water supply lines. I needed them to be a few inches longer to make the hookup easier for me. Jennifer again assisted by shipping me two lines that were 5 inches longer at 31” in length, at a reasonable cost. I received them FedEx the very next day! Thank you Jennifer!!!

We love this faucet. We tried to coordinate it with the sinks faucets- Pfister Ladera 8 in. Widespread 2-Handle Bathroom Faucet in Polished Chrome (2-Pack). I think the go well together. This is a heavy piece, very well made. It was easy for my hubby to install.
would get 5 stars if cartridge was right
Overall, it's a nice filler especially for the price. The looks nice, the fill rate is good, and it is fairly sturdy. BUT, we had to mess around with the cartridge to get the water hot enough -- this is a problem that is mentioned in numerous reviews going back several years, so why does Ove not address it or post instructions for diy online?!?! What a pain.
Looks good but touch installation
Just helped my contractor installed this. Took two because the threads on the base leave very little room for adjustment. The instructions could have been much clearer.

total scam
Had it installed last month, worked great for couple weeks, one day the handle completely detached and came off without warning. Product is not sturdy at all. On Home Depot the product supposedly had one year warranty, but when i called Home Depot says call manufacturer and manufacturer is nowhere to be found. Stay away from them, and Home Depot should not be carrying a product like this on its platform, it betrays consumer trust.

The first faucet started to leak. So I ordered the second faucet. Second faucet did not leak but had no hot water. Used the first faucet to learn how to adjust the hot water. It took two attempts and two faucets to complete the job.

Just got it installed and looks great. Contractor had some problems getting it installed based on where they plumbed the water lines, but it seems to work well.
