It's ok.

I was expecting a bit more from a tri layer stainless pan. Doesn't heat evenly to the edges. The stainless is nowhere near the quality of Made In or All Clad. It does get a nice sear on meats.

Great saute pan!

I absolutely love using this Babish Tri-Ply in sturdy beautiful stainless steel. It is a high quality and professional cookware. The high grade in the saute pan style is perfect for so any size meal creation and has its own lid, in the 5-quart size. It cleans up easily and still looks new after 10 uses. I think you'll find its a good price for how much you will use it. It comes with some useful tips for use and cleaning instructions also.

Excellent quality!

I really enjoy cooking with this Babish Stainless Steel Saute Pan. It's well-made and sturdy but not heavy. It heats evenly and is perfect for everything (frying, browning, simmering sauces, etc.). The sides are high which helps keep sauces and oils from splattering all over the stovetop, and I love that it can be used in the oven since it's heat safe up to 500°. It can also be used with metal utensils. So far, nothing I've cooked has stuck to the pan so cleanup is a breeze. Handwashing is recommended.

Cookware

Bought a set for wife as a gift and so far she has been very happy when using them to cook with.

High quality pan, Impressive

The Babish saute pan looks very high quality and I like how it is made with heavy, quality stainless steel. This pan is extremely impressive how it cooks food evenly and has so much room to add more ingredients. I can saute onions in it and then add burger patties to make onion burgers. This pan holds about 4 uncooked burger patties at a time and cooks them evenly to make the perfect burger. When I cook the burger patties I put the lid on but leave a little opening for steam to escape. The lid is also very high quality and has a good weight to it. Hand washing is recommended so I was able to wash the pan very quickly and easily in the sink. The onions and burger patties did not stick to the pan because I used medium heat. It states in the instructions that high heat can cause the food to stick. I like that this pan has two handles because it is heavy without food in it so the two handles help me carry it when the meal is cooked This is one of the best quality pans I have ever used and I love it and recommend it.

Nicest skillest ive ever owned!

Im in love with my new Babish stainless steel saute pan! The quality is excellent. The lid fits perfectly. Its a very attractive piece of cookware. I love the generous size. I recently made 15 cabbage rolls for the freezer. It cleans up so easily! I love that i can use it in the oven. Up to 500 degrees. Its so versatile! I love the little handle on the side, which allows you to lift the skillet safely. Im 70, so safety has become more important as my hands dont work as well as they used to. Its triple ply steel so heat is evenly distributed. Ill be looking for other pieces in the Babish line! Ill include a pic to give you an idea of the size. Tomorrow im going to make baked apples in the oven:)

A must have great pan

This is such a great pan. Big and deep enough to cook in for my large family. It is sturdy and heavy enough for great handling on top of my stove. The top fits securely to keep the food warm inside. Cleanup with this pan was a breeze. The handle and smaller grasp on the opposite side from the handle stayed cool to the touch when cooking on top of my stove. Can’t say enough good things about this pan!!!! Love it!

So much more room than a 10"

I'm no stranger to stainless steel skillets. I've used a 10" for years and years. It was always just barely big enough for our family of 4. Always left me wanting more room.

Professional Quality Sauce Pan with Lid

This sauce pan is wonderful. It is solid, deep, hefty, thick in the right places, and thin where it should be to save weight. The stainless steel shines and the two handles are very securely held in place by large rivets. The top is easy to clean and sets well on the pan. It is all very well made and professional level quality. It can be used in the oven, and having two handles makes it manageable to carry. There is nothing to dislike. We both love this sauce pan. Does it heat evenly? Yes! Cooking eggs was wonderful and easy clean up!

Stainless steel sized for a family

Wow this is such a heavy duty pan! It is a stainless steel large skillet with a stainless steel lid as well. They feel very well made and heavy duty. The handle is all stainless steel as well. The pan is oven safe up to 500 degrees which is perfect for finishing cooking dishes in the oven. Hand wash this pan and for best results make sure to use lots of oil when cooking to reduce sticking.

Amazing Pan!!!

Absolutely LOVE this Stainless Steel Pan! The look is sleek! Lid fits perfectly. It's a heavy, solid design. Good thing it has 2 handles. The logo is simple & stylish. Love the engraved print on the bottom of the pan! The size is amazing! Can saute` veggies with no sticking. It holds a whole pound of linguine and still has room for adding other ingredients. I'm so happy to have this item added to my collection of kitchen tools. Can't wait to do Fried Taters for big Sunday Breakfast!

Everything I wanted in a cooking pan

A key feature of this pan is the aluminum core. I love stainless steel pans, but have learned that the best pans for even heat distribution have to have an aluminum layer. This pan does not disappoint, it has perfect heat distribution and cooks so evenly.

Stainless steel pan. Has a long handle and another small handle to hold onto to help balance and carry the pan. Easy to clean. Large enough to make a lot of food for a big family. Has a lid that fits on on there perfectly. Great pan

Amazing saute pan!

First off, this pan is a bit heavy, which I love. It feels so professional. It comes with a heavy lid and it feels expensive. Doesn't feel cheap. It's not non stick but I put a bit of vegetable oil or another type of oil. It heats up evenly. You can add the tight fitting lid for things like certain types of rice. I fry up onions, garlic, meat, sometimes I let it cook with the lid on. Makes the food nice and tender. Easy to clean up since it's stainless steel. Overall, a great addition to my cookware! I highly recommend :)

This pan is amazing!

I went to the copper style non stick cookware a few years ago. I never had a stainless steel pan that was my "go to" until now. I love this pan. It is heavy and very durable. Even better is the way it performed! So the first test was an egg. I made an over easy and it came out perfect to my surprise! Next test was chicken alfredo, it performed excellent. This pan is deep and can easily handle family size meals. I will be adding more of this cookware to my kitchen for sure!

Wonferful everyday pan

This pan is much bigger than my others, and deeper. It made it much easier to cook with a big bag of spinach, which usually spills out. It will be great for large or one pot meals.

4 stars easy

This is a good saucepan for the price range. It's not as heavy as my Calphalon or all clad pans but it's a good daily driver. I've use it to blanch asparagus and to cook fried potatoes (some say country potatoes or something like that) so far and I've been happy with the heat distribution. I recently moved to a house with an electric stove and it's taking some getting used to but this pan has made the adjustment bearable lol. Granted, it is a sauce pan and at some point I'll use it for that too- I tend to use big pans as multipurpose in the kitchen. I hand washed it upon arrival and after I used it the first time. I wanted to see if it comes out fine in the dishwasher and alas, it does not. The website says it is dishwasher safe but recommends hand washing and I'd say handwriting is the way to go as well.
