We bought this chandelier to replace a white builder basic one that had been installed in our breakfast nook. This was such an affordable upgrade that made a big difference. This piece seems to be decent quality and it was easy for my husband to install. The chain is adjustable, so you can pick a height that works for you or even hang it from a pretty high ceiling. The ceiling above our kitchen table is slanted and that was not an issue at all. I would say that the fixture looks just the same in real life as it does in the picture - a true satin nickel. This is a beautiful chandelier at a great price!
