When I originally purchased the "Baby Devoro" toilet, it was supplied with an Open Front (think "U" shaped) seat. An Open Front seat is a requirement for commercial installed toilets--which this is used most often for in Pediatric bathrooms, as well as Nursery School through 1st Grade classrooms. That worked well for a seat, but I wanted to get something with a lid/cover, to prevent the little ones from playing in the water when not in use. (I've been searching for at least five years.). This works perfect. Note: The name on the seat I received has "Church," rather than Bemis but "Church" products are manufactured under the overall Bemis umbrella.
