Looked good while it lasted

Looked good and felt nice and sturdy, but only lasted a month. I know there were a lot of reviews complaining that the seat cracked, but I was hoping it was a fluke. Our last seat was a Bemis Enameled wood and it held up for over 17 years, but was starting to show wear in the enamel, so I wanted to replace it. The thought of buying a plastic seat to me is appalling, they just look cheap. Not really sure what to do but try again and start looking for another brand. So dissapointed.

I have purchased this brand before, however I prefer the soft close type. This particular one was not my intended one, but it was to be used in our house we were selling. It’s a toilet seat, and it performs as it should. It will last, with care not to slam the seat or lid, a number of years.

Poor packaging led to damage in transit (like another reviewer experienced) and the carrier FedEx returned it to the shipper. I never received it at all. After the fact (ie too late) Wayfair told me I could request extra packaging on a re-order, which would not arrive until two months from now. Not waiting that long and going through that again...Sooo disappointed. If you do order this, request and insist on extra protective packaging based on this and at least one other's review. Good luck.

The surface paint does not hold up

I have had many wood seats and I am aware that you must take care when cleaning . I have had this less than 6 months and use water/mild soap to clean the seat. I am so disappointed that it has already Lost its luster and there are areas that have discolored. This doesn’t make sense unless there is not enough coating on it to hold up to very mild cleaning. The design itself is great but cant recommend. Maybe this was a defect & not properly sealed.

Disappointed with Bemis & Home Depot

I kept the old sku number from my last HD purchase (1000036364). That was a slow closing lid and seat. Searched for this at home depot online, found it and ordered it. This is not the same seat as previously purchased. Not slow closing and constantly lifts off the plastic screw/bolt that holds the seat in place. Had to remount the seat 5 times already. The seat appears to be older stock as its design looks like my much older seat previously to the last one. Not returnable of course. This sucks!

It’s a very basic wooden toilet seat. It’s hard… because it’s made of wood. It’s fine. Easy to install. Nothing lovely about it nothing bad. Just does the job and was the right price.

The seat broke the same day I installed it. It was a serrated joint that broke. I replaced it with a different BEMIS seat, I think it was a Mayfair. It was a horrible design.

Bathroom toilet seat cover needed.

The Bemis toilet seat we ordered was perfect. Easy to install and fit so well. The color was exactly what we needed.

This seat isn’t even 3 months old and the coating cracked. It’s cracked on top and bottom but doesn’t seem to move. Done just from someone getting up from the seat. And it’s the guest bathroom. Junk

Being excited to purchase a toilet seat may be strange sounding, but you have to know my life to understand. The seat is simple but classy. I recommend this style of bathroom decor. thx U!

I returned this & ordered another color. I am really tired of being asked for reviews for the same product multiple times. I filled out a survey for the new seat & now you are asking for stars & more. This could cause me not to shop with Home Depot. Please send me no more surveys. I am only marking stars so my message will go through. They mean nothing.

This AC keeps my bedroom and a hallway cool, the only disadvantage is, there is no button to shut off the clean the filter and dust filter option, when it was just cleaned. I reset the unit 3 times AND the light still is on, unit has to be replaced in less than 30 days and only used it appropriately 10 days. Thank God for the manufacturer gave me no hassle about this model.

Very easy to install. Looks great. My only complaint is my own fault. I should have ordered a seat that has the slow close.

Replaced existing seats on two toilets. Removal for cleaning is so easy! The biscuit color matches my toilets perfectly. The manufacturer recommends cleaning with soap and water or damage could occur to the finish. I had used bathroom cleaner on the seats I replaced and the finish was indeed affected over time. I will be using soap and water on these.

Nice weight, perfect finish to match a Toto toilet. Arrived in excellent condition and was very easy to install. I highly recommend!

no visual dimensions so that if you need larger lid, which I need, with elongated shape you're guessing. this also happened in the purchase of the replacement toilet there the large size I wanted with elongated bowl was not what I received I received the elongated bull downsized to what category belongs in I'm not sure mid-size elongated bowl when they didn't used to be a mid-sized. will mean for larger number of returns.

WHEN THIS TOILET SEAT CAME TO MY HOUSE IT WAS ALL MOST 6 DAYS LATER, I WAS SO MAD WHEN I OPENED THIS TOILET SEAT AND SEEN THIS WAS THE WRONG SIZE AND SHAPE FOR MY TOILET. NOT ONLY WRONG SHAPE WRONG SIZE TOILET SEAT FOR MY TOILET. THE STREWS WERE MISSING. WHEN THE FEDX TRUCK PERSON CAME TO PICK THIS TOILET SEAT UP FROM MY HOUSE.

Excellent product. Extremely easy to remove and replace. No tools required. Very easy to keep clean as well. Super buy. Great quality. Highly recommend.

Great (but with slight mounting bolt spacing issue)

The color, size, and quality were exactly what I wanted. It would have been better if the mounting bolts were designed to adjust side-to-side as well as front-to-back. The seat mounting holes in my commode fixture are set slightly wider apart than the bolt spacing on the Bemis 2500EC.
