Not bright enough.
I liked how easy it was to install and the overall concept. However, I was expecting a brighter light.

Perfect light for a bathroom
My daughter introduced me to these products..I absolutely love them!! I’ve been replacing them all over my home…
I have been using snap power ever since the beginning I actually helped them out with a some start up money, now they are being copied by other companies and they are still the best. The only problem with them is that they have increased their prices which I guess they have to but they make a great product and they stand behind every sale. I have installed them in a few of my family members houses and they are very happy with them.
They are really a great item. Especially when getting up in the middle of the night and being able to find the switch and having a clear view of the floor with the plug lights.
It has an adjustable setting, others don't have.
These lights are great as a night light! It provides a nice path when you dont need a full light on.
Night light
Worked great
Brightness
Could be a little brighter.
Worked great for 2 days after taping it
Worked for two days. Had to use electrical tape to wrap it around because the arms are so flimsy they kept moving… and then It still stopped working.
Wools good
Works good instructions a little difficult
I wrote a similar review for the GuideLights and the SwitchLights are the same. Most covers are smooth and shiny but these are more of a matte finish. I ordered light almond and that is what is on the product packaging but as you can see in my picture it doesn't match the light almond I have. The one thing that did go right for me was installing them. It was a bit tricky at first so I watched a YouTube video and that helped. I only had to manipulate one out of the three I ordered to get it to work (bending one of the prongs a bit). I really wanted the SwitchLights for Triple Gang Switches but now I'm glad they are out of stock because they would be in areas of the house that are quite visible. Only one of these is in an area people will really see it so I'll put up with it for now.
After having to bend the tabs to fit more adequately to touch the contacts they work well.
I bought Double Gang lighted toggle switch plate but it doesn’t work on my application. The contact points for the switch plate are for the switch on the left. In my situation the left switch is a dimmer with a large metal plate on the front that doesn’t allow the contacts to fit in the sides. The right switch is a simple single pole switch. If the contacts were on the right side it would work just fine. Do you make a double gang switch plate with contacts on the right side?
The contact tabs may not line up with the wire screw heads on your switches. At first, I was ready to return the new switch plates. But, I'm handy and wanted the new switch plates to work! After looking at the contact tabs on the new switch plate, the problem was the contacts tabs went passed the wire screw heads when the new switch plate was put in place. This was my solution. First, be safe and turn off the power to the switch. REMOVE the entire switch assembly from the electrical box, remove the two screws holding the switch in the box, and pull the switch out. There should be enough slack in the wiring to pull the switch out of the box by an inch or so. Cover the switch with the new switch plate. Put the new switch plate over the switch as though it was installed in the wall. You will be able to see how far the new switch plate contacts go passed the wire screw heads. Then, carefully bend the contact leads so they are closer to the wire screw heads. Do this little by little until the new switch plate contacts touch the wire screw heads, with the new switch plate properly positioned over the switch. Once you get the contacts to touch the wire screw heads, bend the contact point in the direction towards the wire screw heads. You want to add some spring tension to the contacts tabs so when you assemble everything, there's tension against the wire screw heads from the contact tabs. I guess there are other switch designs with the wire screw heads in different locations. The new switch plate contact tabs provide enough length for adjusting the contact tabs to work with a variety of switches. You don't need any aluminum strips or any other jury-rigged fix. Simply, bend the contact tabs until they touch the wire screws when the new switch plate is in position. Don't forget to bend the contact tabs towards the wire screw head to add tension, so the contact tabs firmly stay in contact with the wire screw heads!
Had to replace my Eaton switch with a Leviton switch works great.
The product worked flawlessly only after some pains getting it installed. Super easy to install, but my double gang double switch box sat a little wonky, causing the contacts to misalign. If I screwed the cover tight, it ceased to function. However, by shimming it out on one side (folded paper) it worked like a champ. I have since moved, and installed it at the new place without shims needed. About to buy more.
I bought 10 of the double gang switchlights. All 10 functioned as designed including for the several 4-way switches (double gang, 4-way wiring) - no quality problems whatsoever. The features of off, low, high light setting in the design were a pleasant surprise to me. The functioning behavior of emitting a less-intense light if a room is dim (i.e. as opposed to hard on/off in lighting) was a pleasant surprise too. Finally, I had experience of terrific customer support from staff member Tania. She is responsive via email and quick to answer questions and resolve customer issues. My house has been literally transformed at night as the lights give safety to quickly locate the switchplate, and to provide the perfect ambiance to maneuver in bedrooms (low setting) and hallways (high setting). The quality and features of the double gang switchlights for their price are an excellent value. You get what you pay for applies to this item.
Installed in hallways and bathrooms. Perfect lighting for moving about at night time. Just enough light does not blind you. No need to turn on other lights and disturb the guest.
Have ordered several guide lights in the past that we have been extremely pleased with. We recently moved and ordered 2 double gang rocker switch plates. They are OK but the emanated light is a dull soft subtle light. Much prefer the brighter white light.
This product was a great enhancement to my home. I love how seamless these lights are. Super functional, great-looking, killer bling effect. Definitely recommend to anyone!
