Great backyard addition

Excellent directions and product parts fit easily. Needs at least 2 to assemble; our team of 4 took 2hours only. Spacious and well sized; fits backyard well without standing out.

I ordered this shed on September 19th and received it a couple weeks later. I pulled out the parts and took inventory, and found I had two of one panel and was missing another. I reached out to Rubbermaid (super inconvenient hours BTW) and got the run around for a couple weeks before finally getting them to ship the replacement panel. From there it took another 4 WEEKS to get the panel. It was the right part, but the wrong color, see the attached pic. I'm beyond caring about looks at this point, I just wanted my shed.

Value for Money?

At approx. $500 CDN this shed is an adequate value. Instal is basic and took about an hour with two people. Read and follow assembly instructions and sufficiently "anchor" the shed base. Design, fit and finish is OK. I elected to use the slide in mounting hooks to instead fasten 2x2's on side walls and 2x4 on back wall, allowing for substantially more hanging options. A small shelving/basket unit will fit as well if needed.

A bit more than others but much better quality.

Although Walmart's ship to store experience was lacking this time (they didn't tell me it had arrived) this shed was still worth the wait. I already have a full size Rubbermaid shed but needed to free up some room. I needed something tall and this fit the bill. Sadly it is getting more difficult to find Rubbermaid sheds in stores. I can only guess that is because the competition is cheaper. Cheaper is not always better. I tried a similar shet from that Sun company and it was garbage. The instructions were lackluster and it the hinges would not hold. Rubbermaid designs them better and makes them to last. I have a smaller Rubbermaid storage shed that I bought back in the 90's and have broken down and moved halfway across the U.S. and back and it still stands and stores. I fully expect this to hold up for a long time as well.

Looks nice, recommend a sheltered location

I read through the instructions beforehand so i had a good idea how it would go together, then i built it myself. It still took me a few hours. Its important pre-drill pilot holes every where it's indicated in the instructions...the build will go much more smoothly. Other reviewers have said the screws are too short for putting the roof pieces on, and that is the most frustrating part for sure...i could barely fit a finger in there to get the screw started (I'm female) Overall i thought the instructions were quite good..it goes together kind of like building blocks. But in the end...it is a building made of plastic. I dont think i would have much confidence in it holding up in a Canadian winter storm. Mine is sheltered inside my carpet so i think it will be ok.

Not very sturdy, door falls off easily

First of all, the instructions were not the easiest to follow. Poorly layed out details. Second the left door will not stay in place. It keeps popping out, we have tried pallets underneath thinking maybe it was uneven ground causing it, didn't work. Tried drilling holes into each door corner and used an "L" bracket to connect the corners together better...didn't work. Every time the door is opened it pops out of the hole. Lastly for the price of the item, I agree shelving should have been included with it. Don't know if a recommendation of this item is possible. This is definately something I would normally return for the door issue, however since we had to modify it with the brackets now I can't return it. Don't believe it's worth the money.

Good - satisfied - meets my need - easy

For the price - I got what I paid for, so no surprise there. The instructions were good, clear, and easy. All the parts were in the box. The shed is sturdy but not strong or heavy duty, but does the job for the one person lift items, yard tools, and some of the various wood pieces that are in it.
