Very Nice Upgrade

The Moen Smart Sprinkler Controller is such a nice upgrade. Installation was a bit intimidating until we realized our old system had a power converter in an exterior box that we wouldn’t be using. The new system is much more simplistic and the app is so easy to use. I can now water exactly the zones I want on the days and times I want.

Easy set up! Love it

Super easy install with minimal tools. Didn’t even need a handyman. Integrated with phone super easy. App works so far and no crashes or bugs. Water schedules are easy to set up

Very useful

This is a great product. I love that it has a sensor, so it only waters when you need it to. It was easy to customize each zone, and the fact that it was 8 zones is very handy. I also like that I can control it from my phone, and it was easy to program.

Next level sprinkler control

The key with installation is to make sure you take a picture of the zones beforehand. This made Installation very simple. App is intuitive and integrates simply with my home WiFi. Programming was as easy as can be as well. Simply scan for zones in the app and voila!

Easy to use smart sprinkler

The Moen smart sprinkler controller is quite easy to install and set up. Attach it to your wall or use their outdoor controller box, connect the wires, plug it in, connect it to your WiFi and away you go. While there are a few steps it really didn’t take more than 20 minutes to program my zones and get to watering my lawn. I would prefer it if the connections were clamp on style instead of screws and if the labeled zones were easier to read but that is a small one time issue during installation. The app took some effort to get the weather function to work properly, but after going through a few weather stations I was able to find one that would work consistently. I like the way that it runs my zones for a few minutes and soaks and repeats until the time is met. They have a neat smart soil sensor that you can pair zones with. It is another method to ensure that your lawn is receiving the right amount of water at all times which will save money on the water bill over time. All in all, very happy with the system.

It's a really nice looking faucet. I wish that it was finger proof resistant. Otherwise, it was easy to install.

Solid choice, could be improved

The Moen 8-Zone Smart Sprinkler Controller is overall a solid choice for a controller. The app, which is central to its functionality, allows for remote control and detailed scheduling adjustments, making it convenient to manage. However, the app has had occasional connectivity issues and can be less reliable than desired. Additionally, its higher price and the limitation of 8 zones might not be ideal for larger properties or those with more complex irrigation needs. I would highly recommend the soil sensor if purchasing this. Setup and installation was fairly easy for me.

Easy install and a money saver!

I’m really impressed with the Moen smart sprinkler system that I received in exchange for an honest review. Replacing my old, entry-level manual sprinkler controller with this one was a breeze. Once installed, all I had to do was download the app, which made managing the system super easy. Being able to control the sprinklers from anywhere, anytime, using my phone is incredibly convenient.

Spout reach measurement is not accurate

Spout reach measures less than 4.5”. Faucet seems fine otherwise. Didn’t install because of the inaccurate product information.

Works good

The Moen Smart Controller works well. It is a great way to keep my plants watered and hydrated. The set up was easy and the app is easy to navigate. I was easily able to program it and the rain sensors work well

Easy to get up and running

Swapping out my existing old school system for this was very easy. The provided labels with zone numbers were a nice touch and eliminated any chance of worrying the zones incorrectly. The magnetic faceplate is also a great idea. Installation of the app and attaching the unit to my account was seamless, and I was able to get my basic programs set up quickly. I’m still exploring the advanced features, which really lets you fine tune to your yard and weather specifics. I’m excited to see how this can help me avoid unnecessary watering once it decides to rain here in Texas again.

This is awesome! Easy to install, works how it should. Very easy to use and isn't affected by the storms we have. Definitely worth buying! Yaaaay

Moen has amazing customer service

It was very easy to install with great instructions. It was great to step up how I want custom my yard . It nice to water my yard with a time lapse I need for each zone. The app is awesome to navigate through it to customize my lawn needs. We had a personal connection issue on our end but Moen customer support was great in solving the issue.
