Easy to install and easy to program. Works great.

This was the only wall switch I could find that was fully programable to turn on and off on a schedule including dusk to dawn without a light sensor. Installation was simple, it replaced an existing on/off switch and can be installed in three way circuits. Looks good in the wall switch plate.

Great light timer

This was not too hard to install. Only a 1 way switch that I had to hook up to. There are good youtube videos on how to do this and also how to set it up the programming. I am primarily using this to turn outside lights on at dusk and turn them off at dusk. You can set it for your exact location using latitude and longitude coordinates. Works like a charm. You can also turn it on or off whenever you want and it will continue to follow the program afterwards. Also seems to hold it's settings after a power outage so you don't have to worry that it must be reprogrammed.

Easy to install, programming was easy for sun up/sun down, but I wish you could set an offset for both sunup and sundown not just a single offset. For instance, I want to turn on my garage outdoor lights 30 minutes after sundown but turn them off directly on sunup. I guess I can create two events for this but seems like an easy change to make without the program.

This works as it should, but it wasn't the easiest device to install and program. The instructions were clear, in the box, but I had to go and buy a special "remote" three way switch for the other switch location. That delayed the installation and required a few extra steps to track the wires (load versus line, traveler, adding a pigtail to the neutral at each switch location). Once programmed, however, the switch functions great, seems to be adjusting for the earlier sunsets, and fits in with other Leviton devices. I recommend the device, especially in a single pole, but you will need a special switch for a three pole switch.

Good timer, easy to install

We have this time on another light just added another. Works well, easy to program and install. Would recommend it.

Great little timer! Takes a few minutes to get it to fit properly in the old switch box, but works very well. I have two of these, one ar the front of the house and one at the back.

Easy to install & program.

Bought 3 of these 8+ years ago. After a long power outage one of them was dead. Bought a new one to replace it. Was easy to install (my first switch) and has worked great for a few weeks now. Highly recommend for lighting your house on a timer- love coming home at night to a lit house.

Perfect. This is a replacement for another brand that has been in use for so long it still thinks that DST is on the old schedule. This install was straight forward and not very difficult. Getting the programming done is a bit tedious, and the directions are not especially clear, but I got it done and it has been working perfectly for a few weeks - so far so good.

Works great

I've had another one of these for many years and it has worked very reliably. They work great once you get past the programming instruction set. Now I admit that I didn't initially read the instructions as thoroughly as I should have and I found the current instruction set a little confusing. SHORTCUT - To take advantage of the location and astronomical timing auto settings use the Pro progam setup menu. That said the system works great and I really like the rechargeable battery backup in the switch.

Much better product than the old mechanical one I had.

Works as advertised

As promised, this switch can be set to turn lights on at dusk and off at dawn -- AND the switch compensates for the lengthening and shortening day throughout the year. That's why I bought it, though you can also set many fixed times. Not easy to see, but Leviton has good videos available.

I have a pair of these installed, and I really like them. Straight forward to program, decent graphics, and easy to learn how to put the unit in temporary (or permanent) bypass. The first timer runs an electric water heater during the cheap hydro rate (from 11:05pm to 6:55am) when there are only 2 of us in the house. When the whole family is home I put the timer on bypass so it stays on. This switch handles 1125W (resistive load) for 8 hours at a time without heating up. The second timer easily handles the power to run a fridge, a freezer, and two computers… plus a battery charger for a 5kW power wall. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.
