Love the tile. Exactly what I was looking for and green is hard to find. Also impressed the way it was packed. Was concerned that some tiles would be broke. Not a one!

I love these 18 inch square tile. One tile covers so much floor. The multicolor greys in this tile make it extremely easy to tie in other colors in a bathroom that is small and can get to "busy" in a hurry. Even though they have a touch of contemporary look to them, they pair well with some old country charm for a vanity and medicine cabinet. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a new look.

This tile is magnificent!!! We have been slowly buying some to remodel our bathroom with and we almost have enough now to finish the job. The tiles are very heavy and they come 5 to a box. They are 17 3/4” square and about 1/2” thick. They are made in Spain and have a rough backside so that they can be used on the floor or the wall. The decorative side also has a nice finish that’s not too slick so it’s grippy enough when wet. We are very happy with the tiles.

I have this same design in blue in my bathroom (bought online, unseen, since they werent available locally) and I love them. Been down about three years and still look fantastic. SO, I thought I would get the grey for the other bathroom...however, they have variation in color (not one shade of grey), which the blue did not have. They are pretty, but the different greys made them too busy for the bathroom.

The Merola Tile Berkeley Essence Grey Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile is a square tile measuring 17-3/4 in. x 17-3/4 in.. It makes 11.17 sq. ft./case and is primarily Grey with a low sheen finish. The tile has an art-deco / old world flair, but provides modern sophistication. Initially, I thought it was a direct match with my Elida Lolita porcelain tiles, but see that my existing tile also contains black elements as well. The tiles are solid and heavy. They will undoubtedly last a long time with normal wear and tear.

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful tile!

This tile is beautiful! Neutral with a pattern that would go with almost any style. This tile has very clean look and doesn't overwelm the eye when installed over a large area. Sold, heavy and well made. Pattern matches perfectly. I grouped with a medium grey that went great. I think a dark charcoal would also work awesome. Very happy with this tile. I highly recommend it.

Color

Just like the other reviews say, this is a tile with a great look and quality. However, I want potential buyers to know that the color in the picture does not match the tile. The dark color is not a dark blue; it is more of a charcoal grey with just a hint of blue. The lighter color is not grey; it is a light blue. The white background is not bright white like subway tiles are. It is an eggshell white. Also, each tile actually looks like 4 tiles. The lines are tiny and are a taupe color.

If you like green like I do, you might really like these tiles. They are a 4-up piece with a super thin grout line. Since you will be using unsanded grout, that helps in vertical installations since unsanded grout sticks really well. The pattern is repeating and self-contained, so it gives the appearance of smaller 9 inch tiles. The image is digitally printed, and if you know that fact, you will see it. But in a normal installation, there is nothing that makes it look computer printed, even close up. The pattern is consistent and aligned perfectly across a case of tiles.

The Green And White / Low Sheen Tile Is Working Great. Comes In 11.33 SQ. FT. / Case Makes It's Very Fast To Install In Any Size Room. I Laid It On A Cement Subfloor. The Merola porcelain floor and wall tile in green and white has a great look. The tile is almost 18X18 but has the look of 4 individual tiles. It you look close, it looks like there it grout in between the individually looking tiles. You can grout if you want but not necessary. This tile can be used on the floor or wall. When putting it on the wall, you may need a runner (piece of wood screwed to the wall for the bottom row of tile to rest on) because each piece has a little weight to them. I'm putting this behind my stove as a back-splash. The low sheen should make it easy to clean. When installing, make sure you match up the pattern so that it creates the floral design. Love the colors and look of this after it is installed.

These are really heavy tiles. I was surprised how much a box of five weighs. They are well made and look great. I bought three other designs of the same type of tile. I'm still deciding how I'm going to place them (see photos), and the weather is a bit too wet to set them (I'm using this in an outside area on my covered front porch). But it should be no problem to lay them and grout them.

Another very lovely tile by Merola. This one is Berkely Essence Sky Encautsic. The colors are somewhat subdued but have a lovely look and would fit in well just about anywhere. Pleasing shades of blues, greys and soft white along with the low sheen are very attractive. These tiles are large at 17 7/8 " x 17 7/8" and are "segmented" into four sections. Takes the guess work out of making the pattern match or where to score if you need to make them smaller. Textured on the reverse of course, for a better grip with your mortar. Overall, it's a yes from me.

The Merola Tile is pretty and pretty expensive too for whole-house floors unless you are well to do with your financial situation. You need to look at the cost factors. For decorating small areas like a fireplace or backsplash, it would be nice and appealing. It is artistic, so I would rather install it to show off as artwork.

I have put down a LOT of tile and these are some of the Best I've worked with. First of all,These tiles are Large, 18" x 18", Thick at a full 3/8" and Heavy at 10 pounds 2 ounces each! A case of only 5 tiles weighs in at just over 50 pounds, WOW! However, Once you get past that they are INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL and Very Sturdy. They have a repeating pattern that mimics a 9 inch tile complete with indented grout grooves. As a matter of fact you can even grout the fake grout lines along with the regular grout for a seamless 9 inch tile look. And they cover a space much faster because of that. They can be used on either Walls or Floors and have a kind of dull finish sort of like Satin Wall Paint. Easy to clean and Gorgeous, What more could you want. I HIGHLY Recommend these tiles.
