The filters were delivered with one severely crushed. I pulled the cardboard as straight as possible before installing, but don't think it will now block all dust from reaching the furnace fan. We usually get better delivery service than this from HD.

Excellent filter

These Merv 8 filters fit perfectly and work great. I tried a couple other brands and this one is so much better. These filters actually fit snugly. Dust is down compared to the last kind I purchased-although the same size they flopped around and we noticed the house was so dusty. They were merv 8 also. Highly recommend this brand.

They fit as intended. I have them delivered. Periodically is a blessing helps remind you to change room and you don’t have to go and find them hoping they’re in stock.

These are less restrictive (on my manometer) than the Merv 8 Honeywell Rev B but they filter out dust just as well.

Exactly what I expected

I'm not exactly sure how these will work but I am pretty confident they will! I have went from a 2000 to a 1000 to increase the airflow on my furnace. Then I do like these filters I think they'll work just fine.

Read the fine print

This filter is not 4". It's 4.25". I discovered this when I tried to replace my previous 25x16x4 filter and found that this one was too thick. Read the fine print or measure your filter before purchasing a replacement! (My Trane furnace takes a 4" filter that's actually 3.75".)
