This was a good solution for the area I installed it. I needed an extra outlet to use temporarily from time to time. Install the hot wire on one side to control both the switch and the outlet and the load wire on the other side. The neutral and the ground was then attached. Used pigtails and wago style wire nuts and it was installed in no time at all. There was an alternate way to install this to have the switch control the outlet but I opted for the outlet to be powered on all the time.

I used this switch to replace the same exact switch that finally gave up the ghost because The switch it replaced was about 55 years old.

Wall Switch and Outlet Combo is a easy to install and made a great replacement for my old combo switch. I was having issues with flickering lights also switch coming loose, my old combo switch would also start acting up when anything was plugging in wall and switch was on/used and needed a replacement. The replacement looks very durable and well put together. The switch is very firm and does not feel like it will loose it's durability overtime. The install took less than 20 mins and it looks much cleaner and is crisp white in color. I do not have any issues with lights flickering or switch coming loose and I am overly satisfied with overall results. The wires are very easy to hookup to outlet and was not frustrating at all. I would definitely recommend this product to others worked well with my existing wires, very easy to install, looks great and is very convenient to have a combo switch.
