So far, I've used four from a box of ten and they worked out perfectly! I used them to replace older outlets that were no longer holding tightly.

They installed easily. My only problem was easily solved. A couple of sockets did not want to let plugs inserted. So I got a three pronged heavy duty plug and wiggled them until inserted. Now work fine.

They're definitely getting the job done they are so easy to install I'll be getting a couple of more boxes soon to finish up my home I love it that the openings close when I whe noutlet is not in use the only downfall is you cannot insert them in the back in the insert holes if your gauge wires are larger than 14 gauge you have to insert wires on the sides w/ the screws including ground other than that they're excellent my home was built in 1937 upgrading is coming along just fine!

These are a good value. The outlet have a tamper feature that takes a bit more force to insert a plug. This may be due to the fact that they are new and will soften once "break in" has been achieved. With sturdier plugs this is not an issue but on some of our older lamps the smaller plugs were hard to get the blades in. Good quality, quick to install.

Easy to install though you can tell it's not heavy duty by any means. When tightening down the terminals make sure you have the outlet firmly in your hand! You can feel the body of the outlet "twist" if you do not. For a regular household outlet I would recommend these.
