Great desk. Easy to assemble

Great desk. Easy to assemble and good quality. Very pleased with the product.

I bought the 19420-1 desk in black with white legs and under cubbies. This set came with a small credenza with two drawers and two open shelves, as well as a tall 5-shelf bookcase with a cupboard at the bottom. It also came with dual white monitor arms. The entire L-shaped desk is height adjustable, which is great if you like to switch between sitting and standing. The height adjustment also makes it a great option if you want to have a DeskCycle underneath, to make room for your knees. I love my desk and only didn’t include a photo as it is pretty cluttered right now lol. It has plenty of space for my two gaming monitors on the large side, and the more narrow side I can use for work laptops when I work from home. When I get my act together and deal with the clutter, there is ample space for hobbying, like writing in my journal, or watercolour painting. The only complaint would be from my fiancé who had to build it; he said it was a pain to put together, and the boxes are incredibly heavy. Less

Great quality standing desk with a generous sizing

Very high quality and a great size. Most standing desks are too small, which can be a downgrade from normal desks. However, this one offers a great size with an L-Shape that can fit monitors, scanner, as well as printer. The mechanism works great as well/

Nice desk as far as the sit stand feature. The memory doesn't work though. I bought 2 desks, works on neither. Also you basically lose the ability to put your computer on the skinny short side because of the shelves underneath. I didn't realize that when I bought. So, I wouldn't consider this an executive desk. I had hoped to be able to use the desk occasionally to meet with clients in my office, but now even if conference room is occupied, not going to be able to do that because I had to put my computers on the wide part and the monitors would be in the way.

I absolutely LOVE this desk!

I absolutely LOVE this desk!!! The motor is quiet and it adjusts very smoothly. The directions to put together are slightly confusing when attaching the legs, but if you look through both sets of directions (one sheet for base and booklet for everything else) you'll have no problem figuring it out. However, this is HEAVY. VERY HEAVY. It's a mandatory 2 person lift and highly suggested 3 person. The lengthy set up is so worth it in the end! Also, the delivery company will call and schedule a drop off time with you. It's not FedEx or UPS.

Desk - it's a beast. I got help to build it based on other reviews and even with an experienced professional it took 6.5 hours. There had to be about 400 screws and bolts and whatnots. Once done it's been everything it advertised. Pros: very sturdy and well built; a ton of desk space; really fast adjusting up to standing and back down; love that the whole desk adjusts up and down; memory on the desk so you don't have to manually adjust; good storage options with the credenza/return. Cons: really sharp edges; little compartment drawer on the return side of the desk is just a few inches deep - better than nothing but a little useless; it's heavy. And, to reiterate, it's an absolutely evil process to build. I highly recommend a Handy or Taskrabbit person who has built a lot of furniture to help. Otherwise I can see the buildout creating all kinds of issues. Last note - because it's oversized the delivery is done through a carrier, not Overstock. For me it was delayed twice, and I had to call Overstock Support multiple times to organize delivery. It should not hand been that hard. I'm not taking any stars off because my review is for the end product. But certainly keep these cons in mind. Less

Great desk

Great standing desk, it is sturdy and fresh looking. This was the only one I could find online that's both a standing desk and in an L shape that wasn't $****+. It's quite large so it can fit several monitors and all your work papers, etc. It does take quite a bit of time to assemble, which was expected.

Assembly is challenging.

The effort to assemble it is worth it. It takes times definitely. I recommend you read all directions thoroughly before you start. Great customer service from Bestar if you get stuck. Great desk. The only downfall is the assembly process.

Amazing Desk; Challenging Assembly

This desk is worth every penny. Solid construction, great quality, and I love the color. It's incredibly functional for a home office. The electronic mechanism that raises the desk did not work for me initially. However, don't be alarmed. You just need to reset the device by holding the up and down arrows at the same time. While I wish this basic troubleshooting was written in the assembly manual, ****** customer service is fantastic in relaying this information. As other reviews have stated, assembling this was challenging - it took me 2 afternoons to do it comfortably. The instructions could have been written more clearly in places. It is essential to lay out the parts and make sure you foresee how they should eventually come together - this is not your standard IKEA desk. You'll need 2 people at the end to safely flip the main portion - it is heavy. All that being said, I'm 100% satisfied with the product and the company standing behind it. Less

Very sturdy electric sitting and standing desk for my new work from home office. Did take sometime today assemble and is heavy. Will need two people to move.

Good ergonistic

Works perfect for me. I can now work with standing position which relieves my back pain a lot. One tip, in order to make the engine work for first time, you have to reset it by pressing up and down button at the same time.

Loving this desk! Not the easiest to put together but definitely doable! I saved this as a favorite months ago and when I went back to purchase it was sold out. I'm glad I waited for it to be back in stock. No regrets.

No, I would not buy this product.

The desk was delivered last week without any of the legs or stand frame. I have called customer support twice, and they continue to say they are "looking into it." There are also pretty big scratches on the table top and one of the side pieces. I'm still waiting for a response regarding my missing stand, but in my estimation, if you pay over $1000.00 for a piece of furniture, and it is missing a significant part of the item, the only appropriate customer service response should be "we will mail out a replacement today, overnight shipping. So very sorry." As it is, I'm still waiting while they "investigate." What is there to investigate? It's missing - your problem, not mine; send me a new part or new desk immediately. Very frustrating. From the initial box opening reveal, it looked like it could be a great desk, minus the issues mentioned above. Less
