I purchased this over 10 years ago and still have it. I have a loft with concrete floors so having everything on wheels is important! And after all these years, it still holds my files.

Metal file cabinets

Very cheaply made. Ordered 2, one arrived damaged, the bottom drawer would barely open. Exchanged for a new one and that one came with a defective metal bracket with a wheel which needed to be attached. Luckily the defective cabinet had not yet been picked up by UPS so we were able to swipe out the attachment for one that was correctly made. I will say though, the customer service was EXCELLENT!

Great, Light Weight, Easy to move!

Meets my needs for a simple, basic, home file cabinet to organzie my business. Appearance is good and blends well in the room. It is very light weight which is good for me for moving it. My only complaint is that because it is light weight, the drawers don't pull out completely making it difficult to access the files in the very back of the drawer. Even so. I would recommend this product.

perfect for home office

The deep black file cabinet is a perfect addition to my home office. The drawers are quiet and smooth in their movement. They are equally large and deep to hold all my standard files that I've brought home to work with as well as a second drawer for my personal files. I love the optional wheels. I'm currently using them to keep my files mobile so I can have them accessible to me wherever I am. When I had the cabinet at the office, it was perfect stationary. I love the versatility.

Cute but not very sturdy

This is a pretty decent file cabinet. I especially love that it has wheels. I am not quite sure it is worth the price...it could've definitely been a little more sturdy. The drawers could very easily be opened even with them locked. Despite those cons, it's a cute little file cabinet and will work well for what I am needing it for.

A Disappointing Challenge

I started to give this one star but once assembled the filing cabinet itself performs, well like a under desk filing cabinet on wheels. Be WARNED, the description says it's "assembled". NOPE, you install the wheels and handles. Now if that was my only complaint I wouldn't give it a bad review. But NEVER, not once in my life have I ever received an "assembly required" product that did not have PRE-DRILLED holes FOR assembly. Until now that is. So a broken drill bit later, and after about an hour instead of 5 to 10 minutes I got it up and started filling it. So, price is good, shipping is fast and if you're up to the challenge of assembling (well building) it, it's OK overall. But would I recommend the product or supplier? NO ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

Lightweight and cheap material

This product is a nice size and is not as glossy as the other reviews state. It is light and the material is pretty cheap. Does not come with all of the tools you need to put it together. I would repurchase only of the price was lower. I definitely feel that this product is overpriced for the low quality. I am keeping this product because I do believe that it will serve its purpose.

Too "Light Weight", No Key, Hardware Insufficient

In some cases, you cannot tell the quality from a photo online. This is one of them. When I picked up the box it arrived in, I was surprised how light it was, and concerned there might be something missing. When I removed the cabinet from the box, I checked the parts. With the exception of the key, they seemed to be all there. When I started to assemble the cabinet, the front 2 caster/wheel bases had 4 holes, but there were only 2 openings and 2 screws. There are no brakes on the caster/wheels. I started to fill up the cabinet yesterday and it rolls all over the place when I open the drawers. Would not recommend this cabinet.

A very nice file cabinet

This is the perfect little file cabinet for me!! The price was perfect and the color works well in my home office. It has casters, so it can be effortlessly moved. It was a little too big to fit under my desk as shown in the picture but its current location allows me to place my printer on top. I like that it is metal and that it locks. There is even a spare key. I'm very pleased with my purchase!!

Lightweight, Functional, and as expected.

It is what I expected in both form and quality. Fine for our purposes and will serve us nicely, but lightweight. It fits perfectly under our desk as hoped. The hardware to attach the back casters is not the correct size, so the attachment is not flush or as strong as it should be. Too much of a pain to sent back as it will work for us, but definitely a point of weakness on the item. You get what you pay for.

This is a great inexpensive space saving cabinet. I needed it to fit under a built in desk and it fits perfectly with the castors. It takes up minimal space leaving room for my legs. It is somewhat flimsy compared to a more expensive model. I guess I'd describe it as light weight. It is easy to assemble, was packaged well and works for my needs.

No screws for the handles.

Mine arrived with no screws for the handles. So I noww have a filing cabinet without handles. I agree with other reviews such as the metal being thin and cheap, but that alone is not a dealbreaker for me since I just plan to put stuff in it for storage. But no screws for the handles - that really annoys me. Is there no quality control? I see now that other reviewers have also complained about missing items; is there no quality control?

What I like most about this item is the way it fits underneath my work table, and the casters easily glide it in and out of the space. It is sturdy and also has a lock with 2 keys. It was completely assembled except for the casters which easily screwed into place, and the drawer handles also were easy to screw into place. I am very happy with this purchase. Also want to note that the shipping box is a very sturdy shipping container, and can be reused many times or kept for storage.

Great cabinet, assembly directions lacking

Smoothly moving drawers. File folders sit properly on drawer (no additional stand/rack needed). The wheels make for easy maneuvering from one location to another. Metal is a little on the thin side so denting is possible. The assembly instructions does not mention the screws are similar to self tapping screws. There also are only the bare minumum for screws-we added more to ensure stability.

JUNK!

The metal on this file cabinet is so very thin. The lock is also virtually useless. You can pull on the drawer handles and partially see inside. You will not keep anyone out of this cabinet, that wants to get in. The good thing about the cheap, thin metal of the cabinet is that, once a person easily forces the drawers open, past the "lock", the metal on the cabinet will be irreversibly bent and at least you will be able to see that whatever you "locked up" is now possibly gone forever. Even a small child could break into this piece of junk.

Ugh! Regret not reading the other negative reviews before purchasing this. The included hardware screws for the wheels are too large and DO NOT fit into the drilled holes for installation. Bought this specifically for the rolling capability and ease of movement when full; but unless I go out and purchase a drill to make the holes bigger or waste money on new hardware myself, it's useless for intended purpose. Disappointed in the quality control of manufacturer. Seems this has been a known problem for several folks over the years. If you don't care about the wheels, it's an average to flimsy metal cabinet that comes pre-assembled. Not for heavy duty use. Save yourself a headache and choose another model.

Does the job

I needed a full 2 drawer filing cabinet and for the price, it did the job. I have painfully disabled hands and these drawers don't fully extend which became an issue. It was the driving factor in replacing it. I have had it over a year and it hasn't been moved around so I was surprised when it was moved out of my closet, where I used it from, one of the casters was broken. The connection is plastic and cracked. The other irritation was the frame in which the files slide on doesn't have a stop for the first file, so it gets stuck in the joint. Careful not to have both drawers out, which can happen on accident if the bottom drawer is out and heavy. It tips and the top drawer slides out. Now, the good points are the side rails are metal. I didn't realize that wasn't standard and was surprised to see the new one I got has plastic rails! It was fairly easy to assemble. Screwing into a metal hole is much easier than into a wood bottom. It's light weight and rolls around easily. It held up to my light usage and looked brand new when I passed it on. It's all metal so magnets work. I used a magnet as a paper weight for a stack of papers on top. I have cats and they love to jump on top ultimately tossing the papers. They can't resist laying on a sheet, bag or magazine. It also locks and does a good job doing so. Finally, the cost. I was on a very tight budget and for the price, this one hit most of what I was looking for. If it wasn't for the drawers not fully extending, I would still have it.

Does what it is designed to do!

I am very pleased with the product, how fast delivery time was (4 days before the notification told me it would arrive).

Just What I Hoped For

I looked for something that I could use in a spare room as an occasional table as well as for storing files. This cabinet is perfect because it locks and can be wheeled around. The thickness of the metal is fine for use in a home. The current cabinet I have it commercial and entirely too heavy to move. This wheeled cabinet is not heavy duty which makes it lighter to roll. It arrived assembled with the exception of the wheels and drawer handles which were easy to attach. All the parts were included and directions were clear. It is very functional for hanging file folders and the drawers open fairly wide. I am beyond pleased with the value for the price. I am going to purchase another one. Highly recommended.
