Avoid this light

The quality control of the manufacturer isn't good. The center tube that runs down the middle of the light was too long (see picture) and there weren't enough threads reaching beyond to screw into the base - I ended up cutting about an 1/8" off the tube to make it work. The screw heads are plastic and about half came in the box separate from their screw. The shads are all kinds of unsquared and I spent way too much time trying to bend them straight.

Be careful. Globes are fragile and hang crooked

Although this is a nice looking light, we returned it for two reasons:

Just enough elegance

I don't have a large dining room so I was looking for a chandelier on the smaller side, simple, but elegant. I also wanted one where the lights hung down, not pointing up to the ceiling, as my husband and I read the paper at the table every morning and I wanted to make sure it put off enough light to read. This is perfect. It's really pretty, elegant and the perfect size for a smaller sized dining area. It was very easy to assemble. I absolutely love it.
