Love These Keyboard Trays

This is my 3rd one of these trays. I've had to leave them behind at workplaces when changing jobs. Now I'm working at home and can keep my tray. I am one of those people who tilts my keyboard tray at a different angle than my mouse. This tray allows for that, having a separate mousing platform. I'm also short and can now sit with my feet on the floor and not have to crank my hands to reach the keyboard. It's the best of both worlds.

Just what I needed!

A little work to install, but now I have my home office just how I want. It's so much more comfortable to sit back instead of hunch over the desk.

I like the tray itself, it works well, does not jump or jitter when I type, fits nicely under my desk when I am not using it. That being said, I hate the mouse pad. It is FAR too small. I find it difficult to move from the top of my screen to the bottom without stopping and repositioning the mouse. This is not acceptable. I am looking for a different wrist rest that may not be as wide so I can make it work, but as it is right now I am probably going to be looking for a way to add a different mouse pad. I am hoping 3M has an option as this is an expensive item and we had to drill holes in the top of my desk to install it since I am using it at home and my home desk does not have the metal plate under it as most office desks do now.

Great tray, but ...

Very happy with the keyboard tray. However, since there were no instructions included, installation was very frustrating. Could have easily been avoided by having a PDF available online to download.

3M Keyboard Tray works perfect!

Started a new at home position and purchased a new desk for home use. The height of the desk was not comfortable for keyboard position to chair height and I needed to get a keyboard tray for comfort and focus. I looked at some trays for less money yet wanted to make sure the tray was fully adjustable and sturdy. This 3M one fit the bill, the heavy duty metal slide with ample bolting, the adjustable keypad, adjustable both in angle and height with separate mouse pad adjustments for angle and height also. The adjustment levers take a couple times using to fully grasp how to adjust, yet once you figure it out it is quite genius and works well for me.

this is an awesome tray for a keyboard, it adjusts up and down and tilts, and the mouse pad adjusts SEPARATE from the keyboard which is a game changer for me. I use a trackball mouse and love having it at the perfect height now. this was a great purchase and well worth the extra cost from low end keyboards. it was a little tricky to install as the track is heavy so it's hard to hold it in place and decide where to put it. but otherwise it was a snap to install once we figured out where the track should be. all the parts go together easily and it's sturdy.

Glad I got it

Pricey, but worth the money. Unlike my previous one it's very sturdy and the adjustments very useful. Unfortunately the mouse tray conflicts with the arm of my chair. It's not the kind that folds below, so I will have to remove it. Too bad as it is at a good level

This is exactly what I wanted to have!

I tried to find a keyboard tray for my office desk as its height is a bit high for me. I checked the human scale's and it was too expensive to have height adjust and tilting function. This product has much lower price but has all the function that I need. The tray is very stable, it doesn't move when I type. The quality for the gel pad for keyboard and mouse also has a great quality. I'm very satisfied with this product.

Adjusting made easy

I love how freeing it is. So much better then being frozen to spot. Very well made. I’m glad I bought this one. My arm feels so much better with the lower height. And working with multiple screens it wonderful to be able to move so easily in the direction I want. Well worth the buy. I will never go back to the old.

Pricey but high-quality and fully adjustable

Hurt my shoulder and needed an economic solution to adjust my right hands reach of the keyboard and mouse.While pricey this fit the bill. Relatively easy to install. Very adjustable. High quality components.Basically I'm very happy with it and feel I got what I paid for.

Excellent addition to any office short on desktop.

Build quality is excellent. Purchased to replace an aging tray that had become well worn and bordered on broken. A very nice selling feature was the mouse tray could be mounted on either side of the keyboard and I have decided to add an additional mouse tray to handle a supplemental keypad to increase productivity (yet to arrive). The mouse tray could use a little more real-estate to help get all the way across the screen. My logitech G110 keyboard overhangs the tray just a smidge. If you plan to raise the tray above the desktop, ensure the undermounted track is flush with the desktop edge. Mine is not and so I am unable to raise the tray much until I add some plywood and remount the track.

Great Product

I have a very odd shaped desk, and had been searching for a keyboard tray that would work well and still be affordable. This one did the trick, offers so many position options and easily fits under my angled desk.

3M AKT80LE is Fantastic!!

Let me start first by saying in a normal week, I spend about 40-60 hours behind the desk. I never knew until after I purchased this kit, how bad my posture was when I was working. This kit makes my work time so much more enjoyable, due to the fact that I do not have chronic shoulder pain and neck pain anymore. Night and Day difference!!! Install was a piece of cake. Took less than 30 minutes. Product is very durable and the adjustments are easy and effective. Con: The only con I give this product, is the hardware for the mouse pad. The carriage bolt used to slide along the track on the mounting bracket for the mouse pad, hinders the rotation to an inverted position. The clamp will not tighten down all the way if you have it tilted too far forward/backwards. I made a small modification to mine by removing the carriage bolt and swapping in a normal bolt. 5/5 Stars for this product!!!!
