Best keyboard tray!!!
This keyboard tray rocks!!! You can adjust this in many different ways. It the best keyboard tray I have every used. I'm tempted to buy another one just to have on hand in case 3M decides to retire it. Give it a try...you won't be sorry.

Everything is good, was able to fit my full size keyboard and my mouse on it. The rails come greased up so be sure to watch yourself when installing so the rails do not lose all the grease and begin having problems sliding (I watched mine and no problems). There is a paper installation template one can use to install it onto their desk, just be sure to have some tape so you can temporarily tape it to the underside of the desk otherwise you'll be fighting it if you're doing it yourself. Quality-wise it's definitely worth at-least 150 USD but because it is very wide and able to accommodate my keyboard and comes with a nice keyboard pad, I'd say it's worth the price -- I have been looking for years and finally glad I was able to find one worth the price and does everything I wanted it to do for me without breaking the bank.

just what we needed - this will be our second
Dream Keyboard Tray
I am on my second of these trays, because I had to leave one behind at a previous workplace. This is my kind of keyboard tray because I am short, I type at the -15 degree tilt (most keyboard trays have never heard of this), and my mouse tray needs to be at a level angle not at the -15 degrees. On most keyboard trays, if the keyboard is even close to where I need it, then the mouse is sliding on to the floor multiple times a day. The 3M mouse platform can be tilted however you want, but there is a wonderful guide so your mouse won't fall onto the floor. The other amazing feature of this keyboard is the fact that the whole keyboard can be slid left or right. I would go so far as to say that if my company wouldn't buy me this keyboard tray, I would spend my own money. Keeps carpal tunnel away.

I love this tray. I am still figuring out the specific ways that it adjusts and how I like it best. One thing I will say- I bought the non-screw 3M Velcro one.... I attached it exactly as instructions stated, and no matter what I did, with the drawer in the under the desk/stowed position, the Velcro at the back end of the track would come undone 99% of the time, and about 50% of the time in the normal pulled out position use if I wasn't careful. VERY frustrating. So I bought some 8 pound 3M picture hanger Velcro and funky pulltab sticky foam sets and used those. I removed the stiff Velcro that came with the tray, alcohol wiped it, and put 2 of the most space-covering 3M pull tabs on that same spot. The I put 2 pieces of the stiff plastic Velcro per long side of the track base. It is a sit stand desk, so while making sure the keyboard tray was removed to keep weight down, I lowered the desk onto a tray table with books strategically placed to create pressure on the stickies to get the best glue-connection. I left it that way a few hours before I put the tray back in the track. So far so good.
keyboard platform doesn't connect very well
When attaching the keyboard platform to the arm with the included screws, it didn't feel quite right. It felt as if the screw was really only threading into the paint, not into threads in the metal.

This tool free keyboard tray seems to be a unicorn, as I can't find a truly comparable product anywhere. Other clamp on models require an extremly solid surface rather than the particle board, and honeycombed cardboard that most inexpensive desks are made of. This pairs perfectly with a $35 Ikea desk top and whatever legs you decide to pair with it. The combination of the two gives you the equivalent of a $400 Workstation in many ways. Make sure your desk top is no thicker than 1 and 3/4 inches or you may run into difficulty during install. It lowers my work surface by about 4 in and allows for 15 degrees of tilt in either direction I'm quite short most desks force me to choose between sitting uncomfortably high in my seat or having to reach up to height of the keyboard.

Some of the reviews I read for this product were terrible and I almost did not buy it. I also saved the box because I was sure I would need to return it. But let me tell you what I found out. This is a very nice, well-built and well-engineered product. The directions are very bad and you might need some basic mechanical skills to install it properly. Opening the box I noticed the sticker that tells the user how to open it and how high it is elevated had come detached and was stuck to the packaging material. I was very disappointed and thought perhaps I should send it back. But then I noticed the very heavy duty 14 or 12 gage wrinkle finish C-chanal adjustable pedestal arm. It is massive and is impressively heavy. Then I removed the glossy finish track and noticed how smooth and quiet the two pieces worked together. Then I opened the box that contained the keyboard rest. It is large (the none expandable one, Standard) and more than big enough for a full-size keyboard with ten key and a mouse pad on the side. All the parts were impressive including the mounting screws, so I decided to install it. I installed it under a desk drawer. So I needed to make my own mounting platform. I went to the local steel supply warehouse and bought a 24-foot long piece of 1" X 2" rectangular 14-gage tubing. I cut two pieces 26 inches long, drilled holes were I needed them cleaned off the dirt and grease ground off the sharp edges and painted them. I installed the parts I made and then installed the keyboard tray track to them. It took some time but it was worth it. It is rock solid. Many of you will not have this problem but I wanted to keep the drawer. Next just let me say again, it is big. Look!!! It works well but here is a trick! To get it to go up just lift up on the front edge and pull up! Easy! But, to get it to go down, lift up on the front end and push down. If that was in the directions I did not see it. If you do this it will work well I promise. To all the naysayers! This is not junk!! But it might be more than you can handle of all you can do is hang a picture, don't try it. For most people this will be easy.
3M Easy Adj Keyboard Tray
The tray is great as it goes below and above the desk. I need it to go below to relieve the pressure to my shoulders when typing I do hate that the mouse extension is not support with the weight I have to put on it daily. I side the keyboard try over to help give support so it does not permanently become bent on that end. I love the palm cushions that come with it.

I am into the second week of usage. I have used other keyboard trays in the past, so I know what it brings. Key points:- 1) The mouse tray is 3/4 inch higher, so if you have used the keyboard and mouse on a table or same flat surface, this is difference and during the initial days, it will really bother you. 2) You can put an ergonomic keyboard and not use the wrist pad for the key board. 3) Small mouse tray, good for track ball mouses, will work for regular too... but the same size as regular mouse pads. 4) Too smooth mousing surface. When I used my Logitech mouse on the table, it gave some useful friction, I an still copping with the new smoother mousing surface. I really like the idea that when I am tired sitting, i can stand and still work at the keyboard and mouse. -- Relatively easy to install -- Looks sturdy -- Smooth operation So far happy, and I have purchased 3, two for my colleagues too.
