Breadbox can be used for other things as well.
Bread box is too short for a full loaf of bread. Top does not seal completely,not even when you push hard. When you pick it up the top comes right up,but bottom stays on counter.

It’s the right size but the lid does not seal at all.
Would have liked a snap closure.
Would have been a great bread box if it snapped closed. The design and the quality of the material was very good. In spite of it not closing securely, it still seemed to keep bread fresh for several days.
Don't waste your money on this. It does seal. Bread would stay fresher in a plastic bag. Very disappointed with this!!
The online product description states "preserve the freshness of food with the DURABLE SEAL that fits tightly to the container..." The product I received does not include a durable seal that fits tightly to the container. The lid just sits on top. It does not seal.
Not a tight fit lets food dry out to fast.
