Lid was challenging to remove %26 place back on for my arthritic hands that’s all.. otherwise excellent product %26 does what it should do excellently

Why there are 3 pieces of plastic- the water level tabs inside the kettle ? These plastic should never be in the hot boiling water, this is really freighting and that is the reason I am returning upon receipt and definitely not recommending to anyone of this product. I think it is health hazard !

There is no light indicator and it does show any of or on button on the product. Water doesn't stay hot for long enough

removing plastic

Purchased this kettle as a replacement. decided that we didn't want to boil plastic with the internal water level markers, so tried to remove it. Attempted to disassemble it, and wow, the screws are not phillips, but a three pronged deal. Had to heat the plastic tabs with a hairdryer and now we are sans plastic in our morning coffee

Works flawlessly. Just wish it beeped or made a noise when it reached boiling and shut off. Otherwise, I love it. Great product for the price.

Condensation collects on the cover which when removed to fill the kettle, runs off all over the counter. there is no "ON" indicator and fill line difficult to see.

I bought this kettle after my last (and more expensive) one finally quit after 10 years of heavy use. This one was on sale for just $29.95, so I purchased it. It is clearly much more cheaply made than my last one, but it works. We'll see how long it keeps working.
