[Rewarded Review] Good light and the style matches my house perfectly.
This is a good light and the style fits my house well. I live in an old 1910 farm house and the style looks right at home with the house. I like the light and it is built solid but there are just a couple of small things that kept me from rating it a 5 star. The first and biggest problem I had is that universal mounting plate that it came with. In general I don't like these. They make it hard to wire. The hole to push the wires back through are small and don't let you manipulate the wires well. A tip for installation, Prep the mounting plate to fit the lamp and then drag the lamp wires through it. Add the wire nuts and press the house wires into place. Then mount the plate so that you don't have to try to push the house wires through the small holes. The second thing that surprised me was that it did not some with wire nuts. That is not that big of a deal since each installation can require a different size set of nuts. It just surprised me. Other than that, It is a good light and it casts a good amount of light but not so much as to keep you up at night. I was also pleased that it came with a bulb. All in all, I would recommend this light to anyone.

Customer service was great in replacing our damaged wall lantern. We are very happy with the style and the overall look of the wall lantern. Frosted glass is a plus. Love the frosted glass. Traditional look which we wanted. Received the lantern with a few scratches on top.
Sea Gull 89101-12
This is a very nice outdoor light for use on front/back porches, or as windows accents. It has a straight forward basic design, but the lines and curves on the top give it the classy look of more ornate designs. I especially light the frosted glass. The one disappointment I have is that I have not found that this light has other larger light options in it's family, or light post options. Sturdy metal construction, nice powder coated finish. Not a lot of different size options in this family of lights.
