Nice modern fire column. Easy to start and adjust flame. NOTE: The height is actually 26 5/8” NOT 32”. Apparently it was 32” two years ago when it had a glass shield at the top. That shield is no longer part of the column. I advised the manufacturer to correct the height in the product description.
Confusing!
I purchased this fire pit, and it looks fantastic. There's a slight difference in what is shown on HD website and the instruction manual that's included with the product received. The manual shows instructions on how to install a glass wall surrounding the fire pit top area, where you would have fire to prevent the flames from going in different directions if there's wind. I would think this is a safety feature, and good to have. However, the glass is not included in the box. I contacted the company, and they informed me that the old models had the glass walls but it's not included in the new model which is what HD sales and what I received. Not happy about this change, I think the old model looks safer to me. The second thing that is different is the lava rocks, for me this one actually works out better with the new model since I love glass instead of lava rocks. I received glass flat beads in a very pretty gray tones, instead of lava rocks. Overall, it's a great fire pit at a reasonable price point, but only wish it included the glass walls. I have not used it yet, so I can't comment on how it functions or how durable it is.

I love this modern fire pit. It is a simple clean design. I put a top on it and it doubles as a table. My fire pit is on my small deck and it’s a perfect size.

Small, intimate, fire column
Nice, small fire feature perfect for sitting next to. It would have been a bit nicer if there was a top on it, to distribute the heat a bit more towards the sides. I would have rated higher, but it should up with a few dents/dings. However, my wife loves the size and intimacy of this unit versus the larger standing versions.
