Seems like this should be a standard item with the Traeger Ironwood 885, or any grill really. Initial cost would be a little more but worth it. It's sturdy and locks in position very well.

Easy to install. Added much needed working space for the Pro 780

Excellent quality and fit

Sturdy and perfect fit. Only trouble I had on the install was two of my screws stripped out when I was taking them out. Had to use a screw extraction tool and buy new screws. Not a big deal but something I wanted to note in review. Excellent product and quality just be careful removing the screws you have to remove if your smoker is a few years old as they tend to be a little snug, otherwise I highly recommend this accessory.

Very convenient! The shelf on the side just isn't quite big enough, this definitely help for wrapping, and anything else you gotta do for those long cooks.

Traeger Pro 780 / Ironwood 885 - Folding Front Shelf

Functional and does the job. Easy to fit to the smoker. I had wanted a fancy hardwood shelf, but wasn't willing to pay the price at the time of the initial surface. It would be very easy to source a nice hardwood slab and screw it to this shelf if aesthetics are a concern. I expect this will do the job nicely, however.
