What I expected

I love my Rocketbook planner and was trying to use it for my chemistry class since it was all I had. I grabbed this full size notebook and it’s fantastic. I love that when the class is over I will be able to use it for another class instead of trying to figure out what to do with all the notes I took in a paper notebook. I love the smooth writing as well. I do wish the pages were a little thicker since sometimes the scan picks up the writing from the other page. Do make sure to scan your pages though or you will cry if it gets wet and washes away your notes :(

Not the greatest but okay

This Rocketbook is okay for general notes but the pens don't adhere to the page well. I've tried several different Frixion pens to make sure it wasn't just a faulty tip but they tend to skip when writing on the page. If you have any curve at all to your handwriting the OCR will not recognize your writing. Overall it's a cool idea but needs further R&D to make it truly great. I also want to see more pen options that just the 0.7 which may help with writing and ink transfer on the plastic paper (thinking visavis style like teachers used to use on overhead projectors).

It works as advertised. \n\nApp is easy to use. Scan quality is clear enough for the purpose of taking notes in class. \n\nNotes can really be erased easily. \n\nHowever, if you are one that puts too much pressure on paper when writing, indents on the page of the Rocketbook can remain and will be visible. \n\nAlso, I'd recommend to use the .05 FRIXION instead of the .07 which the Rocketbook comes with. \n\nThe latter takes longer to dry on the page and smudges right off.

Box was slightly dented but items are still well protected. Even though it is listed as Rocketbook Everlast, it is Rocketbook Core that is delivered, which is better as Core is the same as Everlast but the latest version instead. \nHeard lots of reviews that the ink takes time to dry, but other netizens recommended to use thinner point pens for faster drying time. \nOverall seems to be a good product. Can't wait to try it out. Recommend to buy!

Great Paper Saver and Gift

My aunt gave me my Executive Core (black) for college. It has done wonders for me from start to present (almost graduating now). Rocketbook has saved me countless sheets of paper and is easy to transport. On top of notes, I love to draw and write constantly, hence Rocketbook helps me know that I am saving a ~little~ more trees.

A great Usage Referral!

A colleagues gifted the letter size to me with some of your clip pins. She showed me how to utilize it taking notes at meetings and filing under the appropriate electronic folder. I was so taken with the product that I purchased the two smaller sizes. I take church notes with the medium size one (roughly 8.5x 5.5) and grocery lists etc. with the small flip notebook. I have also purchased other pens and highlighters. It would be great if you would come out with a small square-shaped mist bottle to use with the towels for cleaning off the pages.

The Perfect Gift for the Busy Minimalist

I've had multiple side-hustles and jobs for a while...I teach graduate students, and do contract work for two different entities. I love what (and ALL that) I do, but constantly struggled to manage having three separate notebooks, three separate files, etc., to keep everything organized. It was a lot of paper that got lost, incorrectly filed, forgotten about, wrinkled, etc. And I didn't love that I was having to keep three separate notebooks, three separate files laying around to store everything in. Enter: The Rocketbook. It was gifted to me by a coworker, and I instantly fell in love with it. It immediately solved the problem of having to keep multiple hardcopy files around, because I would be able to take notes, scan them, and designate which folder in a Google Drive (for example) I wanted them to go. They automatically went where they needed to be and I didn't have to worry about papers getting misplaced or ripped. I also love that this is a reusable notebook - I don't have to spend money on stacks of legal pads anymore... I write my notes, the ink dries, I scan it, and then I can erase it. This might sound dramatic or over-the-top, but this really is the only notebook I'll ever really need. The pen glides smoothly across the pages, which makes for a good writing experience. I've also purchased additional pens in different colors, which has also added to the enjoyment of taking hand-written notes (for me, anyway).

Wasn't sure at first, but now a believer!

The boss bought one each for the team at work, and I've been tinkering here and there with it for a few weeks. You know how bosses are when they think they have a great idea, and then you have to follow, right? Human nature made me resist as it sat unopened on my desk for about two weeks, and then my curiosity got the best of me. When I had time to carve out a half hour to really get into it, I was hooked, and spent another hour setting it up, testing, sending pages and really giving it the ol' test drive. Then I started looking for the limits. Tried sending files to my boss and my Google Drive at the same time - worked. Then the same page just to my email. Worked. I even started uploading expense receipts and then I knew I was going to use this daily.

Great Notebook, Small Aesthetic Problems

I have used this notebook over and over again for almost a semester. As an AP student, I have to take extensive notes pretty much every day. I would say I've gone through this notebook about 8-10 times and I have had very few problems. The cover is very easily scratched/marked, and can sometimes warp, but the warping usually fixes itself. Inside, even after writing on them several times, the pages are clean and easy to write on. There is a little shadowing and indents from writing, but you have to be looking for it to really notice it. I really have two main concerns: erasing and the actual environmental impact it has. The microfiber cloth needs to be wrung out many times while erasing the whole notebook, and even then it leaves streaks from the writing, though it doesn't impede the writing or the scanning (the app is very good, by the way, especially for online school). The second is more serious and it is mainly about the pens. Though it is no fault of Rocketbook, the pens run out very quickly. I've already gone through nine refills. Paper-wise, it pays for itself. The pens make this notebook much more expensive than $30.That combined with the fact that I'm dumping watered-down ink into the sink when I clean the notebook just doesn't sit well with me. However, it is a great way to reduce paper use and organize your notes online. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of buying it.
